          Good but not great
I found these ribbon fly traps to be good but not great. They have been around what seems like forever. We get a fair amount of flies in the backyard and when we are eating outside they are quite annoying. We've tried the jar type traps, which work great, but they smell like a dead animal - worse solution than the fly problem. These Raid ribbons are odorless. Each ribbon comes with a thumbtack for hanging after you unfurl the ribbon from the package. They attracted and caught some flies, but no where near the number that I was expecting. Our patio dining table has six feet away from where I hung the ribbon and we were still significantly bothered by flies.

          Raid fly ribbon.
I received the Raid Fly Ribbon trap (10-pack) brown. Thisis very sticky stuff. The 1st one got stuck on itself opening it. It says soap and water will remove it from your hands or where ever. Keep your hair away. It says to warm the tube in your hands if it is very cold to remove the ribbon. It comes with a thumb tack to hang the fly ribbon. Flies are sensitive to light, temperature and humidity. Who knew.

Odor-less tape with gel-like sticky surface
This fly tape is virtually odor-less, even after 10 days in a warm room no odor is noticeable. It comes with a thumb tack installed in each cover of the individual rolls, so no further handling needed to install it. The surface is coated with a gel-like brown substance, which comes off easily. Make sure you don't touch it or get in touch with any surface. It can not be cleaned off with water&soap, alcohol can be used to clean it off.

          Not pretty, but super effective
These fly ribbons are not the prettiest things in the world, but they are supremely effective. We had a bit of a gnat infestation around our indoor herbs, so we put one of these up and within an hour had around 10 caught. Now, after a week+, I cannot count how many gnats we've caught. We have seen a distinct decrease in gnat population around the house as well, so I'm hopeful that they will be pretty much gone just by using these ribbons. They are VERY sticky, though, so be prepared with some sort of goo remover in case you accidentally get it stuck to something while putting it up or down. I think we pulled the ribbon completely out of the tube, but I think you maybe aren't supposed to pull it all the way out like that. It doesn't impact the performance of the ribbon I don't think, but might make it more difficult to dispose of. If you've got a fly/gnat problem in your house, I highly recommend this to help control the population quickly.

          Effective for the occasional fly
It's around that time of year that I always accumulate house flies around the windows and no matter what I do they just keep coming back. I got these fly traps to place on the back porch hoping it catches them before entering my home. I've had them hung for about a week now and while I've managed to catch a handful, they don't seem to be attracted to it as much as I thought they would. Maybe I didn't hang enough of them around, but they are so sticky and I made the mistake of hanging one inside and it got on the wall and was very difficult to clean. My fly problem isn't bad though, so if you only have a mild problem I'd recommend trying these as it's way less expensive than other options

          Raid fly ribbon
I bought the raid fly ribbon two weeks ago to ward off the insects in my backyard especially. The package came with ten ribbons and instructions on how and where to use them. I started with one in my backyard. The tube needs to be warmed up to facilitate the removal of the ribbon. The ribbon can be placed in food prep area, barns, kennels, garages etc. The ribbons don’t have any insecticides or aroma and they are safe to use indoor or outdoor.

          Kills Flies
The Raid Fly Ribbon Trap (10 Pack) is a much better solution than a fly swatter for getting rid of pesky flies. It is easy to unroll and to hang the sticky tape (stored in the small canister) in areas where flies are prone to congregate. Before too long, flies land on the tape and meet their demise. Job done! I like this product because its simple to use and very effective.

          Take care of those flies!
As winter ends and spring begins, the flies come alive and bother all of us. The Raid - Raid Fly Ribbon Trap (10-Pack), Brown is an option we wanted to give a try. The packaging is good, the directions seem simple enough, but when pulling the tube down, a person can’t help but get the sticky residue all over your hands. We’re hoping the fly ribbon will reduce the nuisance created by dirty flies.

          Great Product
This is just normal fly paper. You hang it up, and over time, it will get covered in flies. It doesn't work fast, but over a month or two, it will be covered with so many flies that new flies can't land on the tape anymore because they will just be walking on other flies. I put-one up every summer to deal with all the house flies and fruit flies that grow from all the fresh fruit and vegetables from our garden. And by the Chicken pen!

          Always reliable in ridding flies
I remember as a kid seeing fly strips in my grandpa's garage, chicken coop and honey house. And they always had an abundance of flies attached. I tried one of those electric devices that supposedly sends out a high pitched tone that bugs and mice hate but it seemed to have no effect on at least the mice I kept catching. Bugs and flies did not seem affected by them either. Why not just use a time-tested way of fly control and this is what these Raid fly traps do.
