Outdoor all weather fly trap
We have a oversized fenced in concrete patio with a raised pebble potty area for our XL puppy. Flies have been a major issue even when we immediately clean up after our pup. We have tried so many fly traps all have worked great but this was the first kind that didn’t send off a awful smell or attract them. We hang two of these and they keep the fly body count down, with no smell!! Definitely recommend!!

    A Sticky Situation
Raid Fly Stick Trap (2-Pack), Silver These Raid fly sticks are the best I have found they work great attracting flies, moths, and nats. I have them outside under my covered patio, next to the trash can storage area, and in my garage. My wife loves them since it really helps keep the flies away from out back door so every time you go in and out the back door flies don't come in the house.

Not as effective as the Raid Fly Ribbon
We had an explosion of flies for some reason, so I put the Raid Fly Stick up against the Raid Fly Ribbon. The Ribbon won hands down. While the Fly Stick is supposed to last 3 months, that's because it will take much longer to "fill up" with stuck flies. The good thing about the stick is that (assuming you have a hook or nail upon which to hang it), it is much easier to install than the sticky unraveling of the Fly Ribbon. The other good thing about the Fly Stick is that it's aesthetically a bit nicer to look at. The package suggested putting honey or chocolate syrup in the base, but I didn't want to risk spilling sticky liquid so skipped this suggestion. In sum, the Fly Ribbon is cheaper and more effective. I'm going to stick with the Fly Ribbon in future.

    Good idea, but some flaws
I bought this fly sticky trap for my patio area, which gets lots of bugs this time of year. The sticky part of the trap is exactly that, very sticky. I had it out for two days and it caught a couple of flies, a couple of bees, and unfortunately no mosquitos. The directions say to add something sweet to the cup at the bottom to help attract insects. I added some Hershey's chocolate sauce to sweeten the deal. All was going well until we had a thunderstorm overnight. The rain knocked the cup off the bottom of the stick and the chocolate sauce spilled all over the deck. Not the end of the world but it is something to be aware of. Next time I will be installing it under an eave to protect it better from the elements.

    Works OK
We have been using adhesive based sticky traps on windows and on the floor for many years. We tried this fly stick to see how it works. It works, but, we don’t see much difference between the fly stick and the sticky window traps, or the sticky floor traps. With this Fly stick we placed it in a corner near two windows. The instructions say to move it around if no results occur. The instructions advise you not to touch the stick; we accidentally did this and found that it is very difficult to remove the sticky stuff from your hand. After a few days we had one bug on the fly stick and two bugs on the sticky window trap. With the window traps we found out they are most effective if you place them in the lower right or lower left corner of the window. With the floor traps we found out they are most effective if you place them in the corner of a room. We recommend you try different types of sticky traps to find out what works best for you.

    Great Bug Catcher
We have purchased any number of bug catchers and fly traps and a great many of them were less than a success. These Raid Fly Stick Traps have been much more to our liking and they actually catch the bugs! We hung one up by our outdoor grill for a trial run, and two days later (in spite of rainy weather) it had a substantial number of flies. Very satisfactory!

    Amazing!
I have to say I was very skeptical that this thing was going to work. HOWEVER, I put it up Friday before this 3 day weekend. I also did the suggestion of adding some pancake syrup to to the lower tray. It took about a day for the flies to find it. Then it was absolutely shocking how fast the flies started sticking to it. I will certainly purchase more of these!

    Easy fly trap
In summer, kids leave the door open and no way to avoid flies from entering home. I was looking for a simple solution that doesn’t involve chemicals or smoke. This is the easiest solution to trap flies and super easy to use. For some reason all the flies get attracted to this trap and stuck to this trap. This one is super light weight and make sure you don’t touch the aluminum part. Else you you will end up with super sticky hands. Also it is super light weight and need some support to stand on its own

    perfect for my sunroom
As much as I try to keep them out, I always bugs in my sunroom. The Raid Fly Stick Trap was perfect. Carefully remove one of the sticks ( they are super sticky) and hang up wherever you want. I put a little chocolate syrup in the bottom cup to attract them. I was happy to see within hours it had caught multiple bugs. Love that it lasts up to 3 months and the 2 pack will last me through spring and summer.

    New twist on flypaper
The Raid Fly Stick is a nontoxic way to deal with houseflies and horseflies. The stick can be hung discreetly in food preparation areas, barns, on the porch or patio or in any living space where flies are a problem. The cylindrical tube is covered with a sticky substance that traps insects that land on it. The bottom of the trap can be baited - the manufacturer suggests using a sugar syrup. Bait isn't necessary, but it may help to draw the flies away from other things they enjoy (like your food). The fly stick is an improvement over regular flypaper. Often, flypaper will stick to itself, and you lose surface area. Also, flypaper can dangle into the area where people are walking, and you can accidentally get hair or clothing stuck on it. The fly stick provides more surface area, is more compact, and is just as effective..
