Why is it considered unsafe for pets?

Yes, hang the traps near but out of reach of your pets. The traps have a little white hook that can be used to hang it out of sight or just place it on a shelf or table away from your pets. Be sure to add something that would attract the flies in the bottom of the trap. The side of the trap is sticky, And you don’t want your pets getting their nose, their fur or paws stuck to the sticky paper...... I can’t recall the ingredients used in/on the trap so it would be best to ensure that your pets don’t attempt to eat the trap or lick the sides of the trap. Good luck!

Followed the manufacturers directions as stated on the box for outdoor use. When used that way the trap is totally ineffective at trapping anything. 24 hours later it registered one gnat - see photo. A total waste of money!

Thank you for reviewing the Fly Stick. You can try syrup or honey in the base of the trap. This will aid in attracting the flies. Please contact PIC customer Service at customercare@pic-corp.com so we can further discuss the issue you are having with the Fly Stick. PIC Pest Free Living
Trapped those Gnats
I did not realize how bad of a gnat problem I had until I bought this trap. Used them around indoor plants, since gnats were manifesting. It works.

These traps are hit or miss. I had 2 of them out in slightly different locations & 1 got no hits but the other 1 cleaned up. I didn't bait either so It may have worked better if I had done that.

AMAZING
We live in a rural area and have an incredible gnat problem Sept and Oct of every year. We don't get rid of them until the first freeze, usually in Nov. We have tried everything and have been successful in trapping them in various ways but these traps really do a great job! We use wine or cider vinegar to attract them! Works great so we are stocking up for next year!

The outside is sticky but not the inside where the top cap slides in and out with ease. I wouldn't mind except that is what they hang from so 15 seconds after opening the package I held it by the hook and the rest just dropped on on the ground.
