A:  Good day, John! Thank you for reaching out to us! As for this question, if you are planning to us your solar panels in series then it is better to go with the Rover 60a MPPT Charge controller, if you are going to connect your solar panels in parallel then you can use the Rover 40a MPPT Charge controller. I hope this answers your question!

A:  Hi RekTck, Thank you for sending your inquiry. We do not have this information. It's a value that describes the capacity of the battery and in deep-cycle batteries it is usually in Amp Hours (Ah). We recommend that you may need to ask the manufacturers of the batteries for these values. Also, please be note that our charge controllers are only compatible with sealed lead-acid, flooded, gel or lithium batteries which MUST be deep cycle. Hope it helps.

Q:Hi, what would the connections for "Load(optional)" be used for? Also what would it rated for(amps/watts). The way I read the wiring diagram the batteries should get connected to inverter , would these get connected to inverter under certain conditions?

A:  Hi DK3170, Thank you for sending your inquiry and interest in our products. In the load terminal, you can connect any12v or DC appliances in Rover's case any load that does not exceed 20 amps. Even our Rover 60Amp. Also, the charge controller requires to be connected to a battery bank which an inverter is required if we will consume the charge from the battery. For further concerns, you can respond to this email or you can give us a call at (909) 287-7100. We're open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3 pm PST.

A:  Hello Faz, We would recommend considering our Renogy 100-amp Rover charge controller as it can accept up to 2,600-watts when maintaining a 24-volt battery bank Or 3,900-watts at 36-volts D/C. The battery bank voltage would be determined by your electrical loads and your inverter. Please contact us if you have any other questions, have a wonderful day.

            Great charge controller
I bought this a month ago. I did not wright a review until I hooked it up and made sure of no problems. It took me a week and a half to get it all hooked up the way I wanted it. It works perfect. The only problem that I had was in what order do I turn things on. Just remember your solar panels are last.

Easy install, good instructions, excellent performance, I'm glad I spent the money. I tried several cheaper units and had to dispose of them, returns difficult/ impossible.

              Great charge controller
I replaced two 30amp controllers in parallel to this 60amp. Very low draw overnight which is why I made the change. Not a single issue so far.

                Upgraded from Rov40 to Rov60
I installed the Rover60 to replace a Rover40. I added extra solar capacity to provide better battery recharging for the winter. This also provided me with a backup controller in event of failure.

We've been using this unit for a couple months and have no complaints. It's easy to use and dependable. The bluetooth works great, but the Renogy app has room for improvement.

                Rover 60 amp solar controller
This is a fantastic solar controller. The upgrade to 60 amps is well worth the extra money. My battery charge time improved from eight hours (average Oregon weather) to four hours. A couple of how to videos will assist you with navigating the control panel and have you collecting solar power in no time.
