3.5 Gal. Electric Portable Shower

The PRO model from Rinsekit is battery powered so the water delivery is strong and and steady. I found it easy to fill. You don't have to connect it to anything - just open the wide mouth lid (inside diameter 1-3/4" or 45 mm) and fill it from a faucet or hose. The manual says it can be filled with hot or cold water and is BPA free. It does warn you against allowing the unit to freeze. The tank capacity for this Pro model is 3.5 Gallons and I got about 4 minutes of strong flow on the "shower" setting which seemed to flow the most water. You would get more minutes on one of the other settings (the included nozzle has 5 settings - jet, shower, flat, center, mist). The hose has a manual on/off valve and a female quick connect that seems pretty universal - my orange garden quick connects fit into with no problem so you could change out the sprayer if you wanted. The kit comes with two charging cables - one you can plug into a car cigarette lighter and one is for a US home wall adapter. That one is labelled as 13.8V 1A (14 Watts). The manual says the battery is 12.5V 5Ah (at a 20 hour rate which you won't see). That gives you an approximate home charging time from empty to full of 4 to 5 hours. The unit has a manual on/off button a voltage readout you can use to get an idea of the battery life. It does not shut of automatically when out of water, so you have to remember to turn it off or you probably will damage the pump (pumps don't like to run dry). The one thing I didn't like (I didn't remove any points as you don't have to use this part) is that the home charging adapter is a completely generic unit with no UL, ETL, CSA, etc. safety certifications. I would not leave that adapter plugged in, and you can always charge it in your car / truck. For those of you looking for a very deluxe experience, there is an optional heater for this model that will heat the water in the unit for you. You can fill it with hot water without that accessory, but naturally it will slowly cool off. There is also an optional "touchless" nozzle that turns the unit into a touchless faucet. The big opening on the tank also means you could give it a scrubbing with a brush if needed, which is something else I liked - always best to keep it clean, but things happen, and I prefer that I could clean it.

This is a product I never knew I needed until I got it. It's really handy and I'm going to use it all the time. Now there's no more waiting in line to rinse the sand off at the beach, only to walk in more sand with wet feet. This is about the size of a cooler so it packs easily. Mostly though I want it to clean off my bike(s). When I do gravel rides or mountain bike rides, my bikes get nasty and all the dirt cakes up and is a pain to remove by the time I get home. This has plenty of capacity and pressure to blast most of the crud off my bikes (and my shoes). It charges at home or via 12v car outlet, and it can also charge other devices. It's easy to fill and I like that it doesn't have a proprietary nozzle. The battery seems to last forever. My only complaint is kind of minor. I kind of wish it held more water, but then again a 5 gallon version would be considerably heavier. I just bring a 2.5gal water jug with me to refill.

I picked this up to replace a homemade contraption I used for showering while camping and for rinsing things off. It also worked nicely to rinse your feet when you got to the car after playing at the beach. This thing does all of that work ease! And is stored in a compact all inclusive container. It comes with car and wall chargers to charge up before or during your adventure. I would recommend letting the water you add sit out in the sun to warm up if you want to avoid a cold rinse off. Fill this baby up, power on, and you have a high powered hose at your disposal. Not sure how long the battery life is but I can’t wait to put it to the test. There is a ever so slight leak out of the sprayer if the pump is on and you are not actively spraying, but it goes away immediately when the pump is turned off. Highly recommend this unit!

Great little rinsing station to have around especially in the field or any outing which requires you to conveniently wash or rinse. While I would not use it to shower due to the fact it is both underpowered as a shower spray and has a very finite amount of stored water, it is perfect to rinse soiled hands or heavily soiled tools prior to storage in vehicles. Comes with it’s own charging cords for either field or home recharging. Compact enough to store in a vehicle trunk and even the bed of a work truck. We keep both rags and squeeze bottles of hand cleaner which are used in conjunction with this rinse station. I would refrain from keeping this rinse station in the vehicle for long durations since heat and especially the sun are not good for either the built-in battery or all the plastics used in manufacture of this rinse station. Given reasonable care this rinse station should last a few years before the built-in batteries or pump require maintenance.

This Rinsekit is a God send in so many ways. It’s perfect for camping and beach. I use the mini shower to clean sand off my feet face and chest. I rinse my dog feet a hike in the mountains also. I feel safe in case of a war I will have emergency water. I can also charge my phone and it comes fully charged out of the box. This is a high quality machine which I will treasure for the rest of my life.

This thing is awesome! We used it the whole week were in the keys.
