Never seen one. Try making your own, though, with a strip of melamine & some innovation.
No. Only a standard T-shank 4" jig saw blade.
[TOOL-LESS BLADE CHANGE] Uses any brand’s standard 4” T-shank blade. There are 5 included to get you started cutting wood, ceramic tile, plastic, aluminum, and metal
You would ruin it.
No. It is made in China.
Look at the HD website.
There is a button on the top surface that you push down and then pull right. It opens a clasp under the red center guard that you insert the blade end into. Once its seated, you release the button and the clasp closes around the blade. Very easy, but I always unplug the unit before doing so.
If what your telling me is that your primary concern is how to eliminate pieces from Balsa wood from flying during the cutting process. This item does NOT have a variable speed motor. I would suggest in your case to use a JIG SAW because they do have a HIGH & LOW speed. Low speed I believe is the only way you can stop the pieces from flying while your cutting. However, this unit is equipped with a SUCTION HOSE fitting where you can attach a hose from a "wet/dry vac. If you like this item, that is what I would do to catch the pieces.
It might be possible. Use a squirt bottle and a proper blade. Go slow. I have not tried it but I would use water to try. Tilt water way too.
I'm sure you can cut crosscut laminate flooring with the Rockwell Blade Runner just not with the guide as you cannot fit it on the top of the unit. You would have to guide it by hand which is not difficult. Just make sure you use the correct blade and take your time. I have cut 1/4" aluminum with this saw and it does a pretty solid job. I use it for many things and I love it.
