The Rockwell BladeRunner X2 Portable Tabletop Saw is the solution to the problem of having to take materials back to the workshop to cut them, and then bring them back to the job site later on. If you're a contractor, you know that that process can add an entire day to a project. The BladeRunner is only 15 lbs, so while stable and sturdy, it's easy to toss in the back of the truck. And with a footprint of only 15.75" x 17", it doesn't take up an entire workbench like traditional table saws. The hold-down guard and splitter allow for work with wider materials, and a larger rip fence than other portable table saws provides better control and accurate cuts. A no-load speed of 3000/min, a stroke length of ¾", with 5.5 amps of power gives it the capacity for light to moderate cutting of wood (up to 1-1/2"), ceramic tile (3/8"), PVC pipe (1-1/4"), aluminum (3/8"), and steel (1/8"). (Anything over 1-1/2" and you're probably going to need a traditional, permanently fixed tabletop saw-but you can't take that to the job site.) The blades change out almost instantly, in under 3 seconds once you get the hang of the tool-less blade change system. And the saw is protected by a Rockwell 3-year limited warranty, so you know they stand behind their tools.
  • [SETS UP IN SECONDS] Take this table saw to the job site or move it around the workshop. There's even a built-in carry handle
  • [CUTS LIKE A FULL-SIZE] With the standard guard and riving knife system you can perform rip, cross, scroll, and miter cuts
  • [TOOL-LESS BLADE CHANGE] Uses any brand's standard 4" T-shank blade, but we threw 5 in the box to get you started cutting wood, ceramic tile, plastic, aluminum, and metal
  • [0-60° MITER CUTS] With the adjustable gauge you can pull off precise miter cuts for a whole assortment of woodworking projects
  • [ON-BOARD ACCESSORY STORAGE] When the miter gauge, rip fence, and extra blades aren't in use they can be conveniently housed in the base of the saw
  • [SAFETY SWITCH] Prevents accidental starting, plus the vacuum port lets you hook up a shop vac that cleans while you cut
  • Safety switch with key prevents accidental start

Answer This Question

A:  Hello there. Thank you for your question. The Bladerunner’s guide arm has a vacuum attachment port for dust removal. The vacuum adapter directly accommodates a 1-1/4” hose, a common size for most workshop vacuums.

Q:Can the blade protector arm be removed for a long Rip cut? This part is connected from the back of the saw that holds the blade protector & Vacuum attachment (See Attached Picture) or the actual cut of the wood goes through the thin vertical arm support.

Seriously, don't waste your money on one of these.
This thing is a piece of debris I wish I had never bought. Good luck getting a square cut with this junk. The guides are useless. The T-Square supplied is not even close to accurate and because of all the plastic involved, fexes in ways that throws work out of alignment and not square. I hate this thing and will most likely try to get $20 for it at a flea market or something. I should have just bought a $20 hand held jig saw and a table saw. I had it sitting around the shop too long to return or I would. I'll NEVER BUY ANOTHER Rockwell tool again.

This is one tough little saw! of course, this shouldn't be the only one saw for all your needs, if you're up to big projects, but one you shouldn't be without; it's so easy to use and gets the job done; add a miter saw for cutting thicker woods such as 2x4s and you're all set. Highly recommended.

I read the reviews before purchasing and was skeptical, but for the price I was willing to take a chance. I am impressed, now take into consideration I'm a hobbyist on a small scale. I make wooden and plastic toys for kids and this meets my needs. I'm not going to frame a house with it or even use it to install base moulding but it does allow me to precut larger material for use in my cnc router. it has plenty of power, light weight, does not take up much space and requires no tools to use. I do recommend taking the time to adjust the blade roller bearing guides and the parallel alignment of blade to table. I checked the fence measurement scale with the side profile of blade and it is right-on. If you can get this table saw for a good price, buy it.

              A light weight workhorse
The BladeRunner X2 is such an important and unique tool to me that after buying and using one for four full days of work, I purchased a second one as a backup. For me the ability to have a table top saw that can cut so many different materials which is less than 15 lbs making it so easy to transport is a game changer. I no longer need to transport a 45 lb plus jobsite table saw around. Although it is light in weight, it has been a true workhorse for me. I have used it regularly for almost a year and a half for big and small jobs. From rebuilding two sheds, to making a slop sink surround, ripping plywood, cutting trim boards, PT lumber, ceramic tile, and wood flooring, etc, this light weight wonder has never let me down. While I own two of them, other than as an extra saw for my workshop at home, the first BladeRunner X2 has done the bulk of the work and is still going strong. I depend on my BladeRunner X2 so much that I do not know how I would accomplish my work so efficiently without one.

Product is great, simple and quick assembly of a few knobs. A lot of thought went into designing this product. It also comes with a variety pack of 5 blades to get you cutting the same day. I am very happy with my purchase, this saw is now one of my most used tools. I did not give it five starts because when using the included fence I could not get straight cuts, the blade likes to wonder to one side. Also the vacuum port at the top works great but I wish there was one below as a lot of sawdust falls down under the machine and then I clean it up with a vac.

Hello Rockwell & public...I'm Travis & I purchased this saw after seeing the commercial...Wow this little saw is the truth!!!...light weight and its like scribing with a pencil...smooth cuts & very reliable...only draw back to me is I wish they add a light near the cutting area & add rubber feet so it want move while cutting. One more thing would be nice is to high light the table scale...more visible to set your fence by....overall I really love this saw. *( pics are my partner Eric in action )*

                  Awesome product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife knew I had been wanting the BladeRunner for awhile so she surprised me with one for Christmas and the day after Christmas I made a little table for it so I could clamp it in the Jawstand XP or Jawhorse Sheetmaster that she got for me last Christmas. I just finished my first project with it a bridge for a Ho scale train layout made of 1/4" poplar Square stock and was able to do all the cutting in the house thanks to the shop-vac hookup on the saw. I would definitely recommend the BladeRunner I have cut just about everything with it except tile and I don't have any complaints with it.

I bought this saw for my nephew to build things. He has used it several times and loves it. He said he wished it would raise up higher to cut larger pieces of wood. I love the handle hole and it is lightweight for me to carry. Thanks for making a great product under $100. Here are photos of the planter that my nephew made using your saw in September 2017. He hopes to build and sell these raised planters and your $1,000 would really help.

I use this on trim work and anything that uses 3/4 inch wood and works great. I even ripped 8ft boards with this multiple times. Would a table saw be better? Duh. But for the price and small space this takes up its worth it once you get how to hold the board down. And anyone that has said the fence moves must not know how to screw the knobs down. My latest project was my entertainment center in the picture.
