Safer than other ozone devices out there
I did my research before buying this. Other cheap ozone generators use a bubbler to try and dissolve ozone gas into water. This is a new and different technology; the ozone dissolves directly into the water. My hubby is sensitive to chemicals and he loves this thing and uses it for just about everything (throwing ozone water on our smelly dogs is his #1 fav, we have a pond in our backyard and they are always in it and stink of muck. ) Anyway my favorite use is when I bring lettuce home I first dump the head into the water to clean it to make sure it doesn't have salmonella on it, then when I put it away in a zip-lock I put a little ozone water in the bag before I throw it into the fridge. No more icky lettuce, it stays really crisp and has a much longer shelf life. Carrots, too, they don't get slimy or dried out. 5 Stars.

Works very well to create aqueous ozone which can be used for many purposes around the house... mouthwash, cleaning, sanitizing, as a produce wash, etc. When I wash my herbs or lettuce with this, it lasts so much longer than without. The device pretty much has permanent residence on our countertop. We just add fresh water to the pitcher and swirl in some sea salt to increase the amount of ozone generated. You can watch and smell ozone being generated very quickly. Find more info on their website. (Not affiliated. Just a fan of this excellent product.)

I love my new Ozo-Pod!
I bought the Ozo-Pod because there are no comparable products that I can find that are as user friendly and built so ruggedly. I use it for multiple things in my house, the most common is to use it as a chemical free way to clean my vegetables after a trip to the farmers market. I also use it to sanitize water, which then goes into a spray bottle to use throughout the house. Ozone stays diffused in the water for many minutes, so I can spray and wipe surfaces and be assured they are sanitized. It also works great putting the water in my wet-jet floor cleaner for that fresh smell throughout my whole-house. Knowing my house is clean without chemicals and their residue is so comforting.
