Very Lightweight, Easy to transport, Slim profile
When this step stool arrived, I was surprised to find how light it was for its size. I have other collapsible step stools that are lower in height but they are much heavier than this one. Since the step stool is 4 ft, I prefer to use this rather than the 6' ladder for everyday tasks; even though I'll still need to use the latter for taller applications, this 3 step stool is much easier to transport and takes less space to store.
It also has a utility hook and a small tray at the top for keeping items readily available as needed; I've would have preferred to have a larger tray to hold more items.

Good Step Stool for Indoor Projects
This step stool is very sturdy and stabile for its light weight. It is much easier to use and haul around then a bulky wood step ladder. I was surprised how sturdy and light weight this step stool is in comparison to a wood step ladder while it easily supports my ~200 pound weight.
This step stool appears to be constructed well with aluminum extrusions that are secured with screws and rivets. The manufacturer provides the user manual under the second step and has safety warnings on the outer side rails.
The top tool tray on this step stool is very handy to hold various tools for working on a project. The center of the top tool tray is approximately 7" x 2" in size and has a built in magnet under the tray to help keep small tools and hardware secure while working on a project. There are 4 holes in the top tool tray approximately 1/2" in diameter that are perfect for holding screwdrivers, nut-drivers and other similar tools. There is also one large hole on the top tool tray approximately 1-7/8" in diameter that is convenient for holding larger tools such as a hammer or a drill. The top tool tray also has a fold down plastic clip that can hold a 1 gallon paint can.
The bottom aluminum steps are approximately 3" in width with grooved threads that are part of aluminum extrusions that help prevent against slipping.
Another nice feature of this step stool is that it easily folds down to approximately 3" in depth which allows it to easily store when not in use by hanging it on a hook in a closet or by placing it under a bed, etc. This step stool climbs to a maximum of 29" in height on the third step which is a sturdy plastic platform. This step stool arrives completely assembled and ready to use out of a cardboard box. I.e. no assembly required.
