Several years ago I purchased a three step ladder with a fold-out work tray. It was purchased for use in the house and then I used it to dump bags of concrete into a mixer working at home on a project. Cosmetically it was ruined and I have searched stores looking for a suitable replacement. Finally I searched on-line and found this one. It is easier to deploy, or open up, and is sturdier. My wife and I love it. I just don't understand why it is not stocked in stores such as Home Depot, COSTCO, Walmart, etc. I never rate anything as "exceeds expectations". Having said that, this ladder absolutely meets my expectations. Now we have a new, clean, replacement for our house and the old ladder is in use in our shed.

Sturdy step stool with handle and storage compartment
This is such a great design. I used to use my regular ladder but this one folds easier and it's more comfortable to hold on to so I'll be using this all the time. I like the tray to set things down while you're working on something or reaching out on tall cabinets. The tray comes with a storage compartment that you pull out and looks like it fits little things like nails, pins, etc. The rubber covered handle is very comfortable to hold on to for a firm grip. Every household needs this.

Sturdy, lightweight step stool
This step stool is a "type 1" rated step stool. From what I understand, "type 1" is a rating that indicates it can hold up to 250 pounds. I don't know if there is any other meaning to the rating. I found that this step stool is incredibly light weight and sturdy. It has three steps which makes it useful for many household chores. My home has eight foot ceilings so I could use this for pretty much every chore around my house without having to take out a bigger ladder. The step stool also has a tray to rest tools and other items. In the back of the tray is a built in container that can be used to store nuts, bolts, screws, and other small items. I don't have any criticisms of this step stool and I would definitely recommend it.

Very Handy Ladder
This is a very sturdy 3-step aluminum ladder with a large handy tray. The top has a padded flat handle so if you are working from the top step, you can rest your knees and balance. There is also a storage box under the tray for screws, bolts, and the like. Using the flip of a finger, it folds without difficulty. It is also light weight and easy to carry. Once closed, it is slim and can be stored in tight places like between a washer and dryer.

Sturdy, Lightweight
This ladder/step stool is light weight aluminum, but sturdy enough for my 200 pound bod! It's ideal for indoor use; replacing ceiling lights, hanging curtains or blinds, painting, or anything requiring a boost up to eight or nine feet. The label on the step stool says it is an ANSI type I rating, with a 250 pound weight limit. I like the tool storage in the tray, and the parts bin for screws, which slides into place under the tray.
