A: Dear Customer, Thank you for your interest in Rubi Tools. The roller are designed to quickly press out the water from the sponge while pressing down with the sponge handle. The sponge handle includes backing for the sponge to help press out the water. You simply roll the sponge across the rollers from front to back (of the sponge) while slightly leaning into the motion to effortlessly squeeze out the water from the sponge. This is both efficient and saves time while grouting. Since the sponge does not pass between the rollers, there is no need for a handle to turn the rollers. Thanks for your question and have a great day!
A: No there is no crank
