First can had broken nozzle - HD replaced no questions asked. After sanding/priming was able to paint one outdoor chair per can easily. Looks great! Recommend

Durable texture, excellent coverage
My wife and I have used this on a couple of pieces in our home with very satisfactory results. One is a set of custom shelves made with iron pipe fittings (where we painted the pipes with this stuff), and the other is a modified baker’s rack we bought from a local artisan who designs mobile kitchen islands (where the actual racks were bare aluminum, so we took it apart and painted them).
Two or three coats are all you need with this spray paint, and the texture is applied consistently throughout without any need for special consideration. As mentioned above, the texture is very durable, by which I mean that after years of objects rubbing and banging on the shelf piping and the kitchen island hardware, the texture itself is unscathed.
The only reason for giving it a 4-star rating instead of 5 stars is that the texture itself can make it difficult to clean these surfaces. I’ve yet to find a material that won’t leave residue behind on a surface painted with this because the texture is so abrasive that lint clings to it. In fact, if your hands are a bit dry, rubbing your finger on a surface will actually leave some dried skin on the surface; it is *that* abrasive. This is easily remedied by going over it with your (slightly moistened) hand to pick up — or roll off — the lint, so it’s not really a deal-breaker in my opinion. Just be aware that cleaning dust off of this can be a two step process: first wipe with a cloth/paper towel/wipe, then wipe the lint/residue off with your fingers. If anybody has a better alternative, I’d love to hear it.
Overall, this is a great product which we intend to use again in future projects.

Looks good, but...
This paint looks good, hides the fact that I was really lazy with the surface prep of my work piece. That said, it doesn't really cover all that well, and it takes quite a while to cure to the final color. I would highly recommend spraying a base coat of the solid color, then spraying this over it. It will save you a lot of time and money. In the end, it will look much better.

Works wonderfully, stops rust with no problem. It goes on easily and take very little to cover. Let dry and apply second coat.
