The package calls this “Pro” and means it with hefty construction and reliable operation!
This kit contains a torch body, two interchangeable burner tips and a container of MAPP gas, and is the most premium of Sievert’s three “Pro” Series offerings. Though the packaging states that it has “Heavy Duty Durable Metal Construction,” the significant heft of the torch body still came as a surprise. Even the flame height dial and on/off trigger also appear to be cast metal. The burner tips had some plastic components to key them to the torch, and as a cooler surface to push against for the 90 degree rotation needed to lock or unlock the tip from the base. Although the MAPP gas was supplied, I did my testing with a propane cylinder that I already had in service. The trigger generally required two pulls in rapid succession – the first to start the gas flowing, after which the igniter had something to work with on the second pull. A trigger-on lock is provided but no lockout, so transporting the torch with the flame height knob turned fully clockwise would help prevent unintended activation. The provided burner tips, one “standard cyclone” (8.8K BTU/hr) and “regular flame” (4.1K BTU/hr) both provided a stable flame pattern throughout the range of operation, and were easily changed in seconds without tools. I’m a relative newbie regarding torches, but I found that both were suitable for sweating copper pipe. I found the torch comfortable to hold and welcomed the trigger lock. According to the supplied instructions, eight different tips are available for use with this torch, and the manufacturer backs this torch with a lifetime warranty. This is a much better torch than the one I previously used, and I recommend it without reservation.

    Quality heating tools
This is a very nice product. Very easy to use and set up. Sievert connections are solid and you can feel the "click" when attachments are properly installed. This propane (MAPP gas) "heating tool" is very high quality. The trigger mechanism both sends a spark and opens the valve for fuel to pass into the ignition chamber. Multiple tips are available for this tool, providing versatility with a light weight product for "heating". Included tips are "Standard cyclone" and "regular burner". Very nicely built product and very easy to use.

This is not my Dad's torch!
Very impressive! The first thing you notice is how heavy duty and well constructed he main body is. You set the fuel valve setting, but no ga comes out until you pull the ignition trigger. Then you get the flame you were looking for. The flame goes out when the trigger is released. This is an excellent safety feature, which you can bypass by locking the flame "ON".

    Love this kit
Hey ladies and gentlemen here again today with another review this time I'll be reviewing a torch kit, so I received this kita couple weeks back unfortunately I haven't had a chance to truly use it,ni have looked it over thoroughly and fired it up, starts easy like that, it has different attachments that can be easily changed out, and it's not as bulky as some self igniting torch heads which is nice

    Great Torch Kit
The Sievert Pro 9 Ultimate Performance Torch Kit is great value for your money. The kit includes MAPP gas, torch, and two interchangeable torch tips - standard cyclone and regular flame. I appreciate the trigger lock on the product as well as the ease of use. The first thing I noticed when unboxing the kit was the weight of the torch and tips. It is solid construction, and no doubt will last. You can use MAPP or propane and the tips are easy to switch.

    Easiest tip changes ever.
The Sievert Pro 9 interchangeable torch system is easier to change than any torch I have ever used. A simple twist and lock in place about a half turn and the exchanged tip is in place. Only takes about 2 seconds to change it. Each tip has a specific function and the ease of changing them makes it much more convenient than having several torches. The flame is easy to control with the auto light trigger and adjustable fuel amount on the trigger handle.

Torch is rich with features and benefitws from exchangeable heads
The Sievert Pro 9 ultimate performance torch set is a very nice MAPP gas torch set with two interchangeable heads. The standard torch head functions like a traditional torch head and is a good all arounder. The Cyclone Torch head is great for heating up stuck bolts as the flames can wrap around and concentrate the heat one the part you want. The torch heads swap easily by twisting it into place. The Pro 9 has some other nice features like the lock button, easy adjust valve, piezo ignition, and it can be operated upside down. Overall this is a very deluxe torch with lots of options and upgrades out there.

    Professional level blowtorch.
This particular Sievert MAPP (Propane) Gas Torch SET came with three additional, including two very special, nozzles: Hot Air, where the flame is deep inside the nozzle and Soft Flame, which is wide and not pinpoint and with one more Regular Burner. There were two nozzles included with the tank and handle kit, Cyclone and Regular. One great feature is the Push-Button Trigger Instant Start, which lights the gas. Before pushing that lockable trigger, the volume is adjusted with a turn-knob at the back. Another good design is the push-and-lock change of nozzles. Heavy-duty throughout, this is a very valuable addition to a workshop – a real professional-level set of handy tools. Good safety instructions on the tank itself.

Amazing blow torch with great features
I grew up as a pyromaniac, Def Leppard anyone?I have always liked a good torch and this Sievert Kit is awesome for legal purposes. Sievert has made a well designed product. This torch kit has a can of Mapp gas, a torch handle, and 2 interchangeable burner tips. The Mapp gas canister is the same size as a propane one. Mapp gas burns hotter than propane so it gives you more heat to work with for your needs. Mapp gas is more expensive but it always does the job. The torch handle is equipped with great features. It has the standard flame adjustment dial that allows you to turn the flame up and down. It also has the standard trigger, but it adds a trigger lock. This is pretty cool if you know you will need your flame to stay lit consistently. Press the trigger and then press the lock button it will stay constant. To unlock it, click the trigger and it will unlock. The other great feature is the twist n lock burner tips. Sievert boasts a lot of different tips to give you different flames for your various jobs. To change it out you simply twist and pull. Then push in your other tip and twist it into locking position. You do not have to take off the whole handle to change tips. This kit includes 2 different tips: A regular flame tip for heating, lighting a fire pit or grill (although Mapp gas is too expensive for this), or for soldering. There is also a standard cyclone tip that works great for brazing and heating. I also used it for wood burning and giving it a weathered look. This Sievert blow torch can be used inverted without it flaming up. It is also compatible with both Mapp gas and propane. This is a quality product and I would highly recommend.

First off it has piezo ignition which means no lighters needed, it has a trigger on off as well as a trigger lock and you can use inter changeable tips. It comes with 2 interchangeable burner tips and it also comes with a Mapp gas cylinder so you are ready to use this baby as soon as you walk out the door with the product in hand.
