This is a pretty cool torch. I've been using other brands until my friend refered me to check out Sievert torches. I install window tint so I got the Pro 9 which gives me the ability to switch out the standard tip and put on "hot air burner tip" which basically blows the hot air while the metal housing covers the torch and doesn't allow the actual flame to touch anything. I've been using this for 2 weeks now and I'm really enjoying this set up.

“Hot-Air” burner tip extends capabilities of Sievert Pro-series torches.
This accessory tip for the Sievert line of torches promises no open flame, and that’s partially correct – if one keeps the torch gas flow turned down. It’s good for paint removal, shrink fittings & tubing, making S’mores, and I found it useful for heating up(expanding) a tight control knob on a shower fitting so it could be removed. It is rated at 5.5K BTU/hr, though I used it at its lowest setting so I didn’t damage the valve trim nor the plastic behind it. It fit precisely and worked as advertised. Changing the burner tips couldn’t have been easier – just insert the keyed base into the torch handle and rotate it 90 degrees. There’s some heat-resistant plastic on the tip that helps provide a cooler surface to help with tip insertion and removal. If you have a Sievert torch and need a “less torchy” tip, this is it. If you need a “less torchy” tip and don’t have a Sievert torch, this is your excuse to go get one!

Sievert Pro 9 Hot air atttachment
The Hot air burner attachment works with the Pro 9 Sievert heating tool. Using this attachment will provide a hot air passage but will not display a flame out past the end of the torch. Heating "hot-air burner" shrouds the flame and channels the heat out forward. I have not found the correct use for this tool attachment yet, but I am sure i will find the right time/place for this tool.

    Nice design
Hey ladies and gentlemen here again today with another review this time I'll be reviewing a tip for a silvert torch heads, so let's start with the torch head it's awesome and decently balanced, the ability to easily change tips is convenient and handy in the field, this particular tip is similar to the larger blow torch tips with a large wide broad tip flame good for heating up a an area more specifically a large area quickly and evenly , I haven't had a chance to use it like intended but swapping tips and lighting the torch is simple

    Paint remover gun replacement
The Sievert Pro 9 interchangeable torch system is easier to change than any torch I have ever used. A simple twist and lock in place about a half turn and the exchanged tip is in place. Only takes about 2 seconds to change it. The flame is easy to control with the auto light trigger and adjustable fuel amount on the trigger handle. This tip is perfect for warming a larger area and can be easily adjusted so no flame is coming from the end of the nozzle. Can be used as you would a heat gun.

Versatile for a variety of uses
The Pro 9 interchangeable Hot Air tip is a nice attachment for the pro 9 torch body and comes in some nice packaging that is easier to open compared to a normal blister pack. This tip is great for producing a large volume of hot air that is cooler and less concentrated than a normal torch head. This more gentle dispersed heat is great for things like heat shrink on electrical connections or pre heating a weldment. Since the heat that comes out of the attachment is not as hot as a normal torch its good for more heat sensitive parts and improves the versatility of the Pro 9 torch.

    A very special nozzle.
This particular Sievert MAPP (Propane) Gas Torch SET came with three additional, including two very special, nozzles: Hot Air, where the flame is deep inside the nozzle and Soft Flame, which is wide and not pinpoint and with one more Regular Burner. There were two nozzles included with the tank and handle kit, Cyclone and Regular. One great feature is the Push-Button Trigger Instant Start, which lights the gas. Before pushing that lockable trigger, the volume is adjusted with a turn-knob at the back. Another good design is the push-and-lock change of nozzles. Heavy-duty throughout, this is a very valuable addition to a workshop – a real professional-level set of handy tools.

    Works great for stripping paint
This Sievert hot air tip is an interchangeable tip that works with the Sievert Pro 9 Ultimate Torch set. It is compatible with both Mapp Gas and Propane. It works great with the Sievert torch handle that has the locking mechanism with it. These interchangeable tips easily twist on and off. This hot air tip worked great for paint stripping. I used it to strip paint on part of my shed door. You simply heat up the paint with it, then easily scrape it off. Be careful not to get it too close or it can also blacken the wood. The top is rated at 5500 BTU and boasts the ability to not only strip paint but also for heat shrinking. The flame is not noticeable but you can see it working anyways. This tip is solidly built and it does the trick. Make sure not to touch the end after use, it is hot. However, the base is cool to touch and you can twist it off easily. Just be careful where you set the hot top down. If you need accessories for your blow torch, this is a must have.

This torch tip is on fire!!
This thing is a beast!! We stayed at a rental in the woods last year and they provided a torch with a tip similar to this for use in lighting the firewood and it was so very convenient. Since then, I have been wanting one. This thing lights up and simply roars. I showed it to my wife and her eyes lit and she said "Oh my, that is great". This torch tip will make short work of starting firewood to burning. I am so excited to have this and make use of it camping. And I may also find some other uses for it. Truly a roaring flame.

    Hot-Air Burner Tip
The Pro 9 Ultimate Performance interchangeable hot-air burner tip by Sievert is a must have addition to the Sievert Pro 9 torch kit. The tip easily comes on and off with a twist. The tip works with both MAPP and propane fuels. The hot-air tip works well for shrinking or paint stripping. It is constructed out of heavy-duty metal and it seems like it will hold up well. I highly recommend it.
