You can not charge your phone while the radio is...
You can not charge your phone while the radio is on. The radio must be off in order to charge the phone. I returned the radio to Home Depot

Found this as a recommendation for a Jobsite radio. Purchased it in hopes that it was the perfect radio since it was so highly rated. I returned it. Antenna is not effective in picking up stations. Also, you cannot hear this radio in a manufacturing environment. Guess I am buying a Milwaukee brand jobsite radio.

I really enjoy using this radio. I live 60 miles from Detroit and for the first time can pick up most of the FM stations and the higher watt AM stations from inside my house. I did hotwire the antenna by connecting an electrical wire to the base and it seems to help for picking up distant FM stations.
The bluetooth feature is great. I also love that it takes rechargeable batteries and the unit is the charger. All you have to do is plug it in every few days when it gets down to one bar and your good to go. Its a great radio for the beach, outdoor parties, the garage, you name it. Just pick it up and go.
The sound is pretty decent. Its loud enough although when you crank it really loud the sound doesn't seem quite as good. All and all I really enjoy this radio and look forward to using it for years to come.

So far the product is performing well. I bought some NiMH batteries to use in it, and it is very convenient that the batteries charge in the radio. AM reception is good, and FM reception is not, but will be better when I attach a wire or longer antenna. The radio is much heavier that one would think. It must have a slab of steel in it. The area where it could most improve is the range for bluetooth. This is pretty limited, and I can't even roam around the garage with my phone without it cutting out.
Time will tell if it stands up to the dusty environment. All in all, I like this radio and I would recommend it.
