Beware of the gasket
I purchased this nozzle late spring for a 5 gallon GOTT gas tank I had. I can’t say I recommend this because it has not been two months that I’ve used this that the gasket has already split and broke off. Now, I can’t even use the nozzle because I don’t have any replacement gaskets and everything leaks all over unless I use a funnel. Not sure this product is worth it.

The Scepter Easy Flo Spout Accessory is made specific for Scepter cans manufactured with the Easy Flo Spout. It is not intended to be used on other manufactured cans. If this spout is used for another manufacturers product, it would result in an improper seal allowing harmful vapors to escape and leakage. Guaranteed you'll spill gas all over your mower
There is no way to gradually release gas from the can. The design forces the gas to come out at full velocity, like a racing car fuel stop. It's a truly horrid product. Take it off. Buy a funnel and gradually fill the mower gas tank in a controlled manner. I'll wager the hydrocarbons that are released are far less than the gas which spills using this spout as designed. I find it hard to express just what a failure this product is.

I purchased 2 and the one I used on the...
I purchased 2 and the one I used on the 5 gallon mid-west can failed when I tried to use it. The side force on it pulled the spout out of the cap. I haven't tried the one I put on a 1 gallon can yet.
