Scissors Set (5-Piece)

I have not bought scissors in years and some of the old ones do not have a good handle; a little uncomfortable. This looked like a good set and I figured if I did not need all of the scissors, I could give to my sons. They do have a comfort grip so that was good. They are certainly sharp. Everything you want in scissors is sitting in this pack. There are some specialized scissors that I can still use as regular scissors; the paper may have a pattern. I definitely recommend and will give one each to my two sons.

I decided to get the 5 piece scissors set because in my house it seems like we are always loosing scissors. It seemed to be a good value and a nice assortment of scissors as well. They are a nice multi colored set, they are blue and gray. It comes with multiple sizes which includes 2 pairs of 8 inch utility scissors, 1 pair of 6 inch wavy patterned scissors, 1 pair of 5.5 inch craft scissors and 1 pair of 8.5 inch household scissors. I really like that they include 2 pairs of the most frequently used size.. at least in our house. This allows for a variety of uses though I admit I tucked the wavy pair and the craft ones away in my hobby area. They are not super heavy to hold comfortably they are actually very lightweight. The handles fit my hand nicely but could be a tad bigger. Though I do really think that the craft ones would be good for a younger person that is too old for safety scissors but not quite ready for adult ones. I do not see these lasting as long as some of my other higher end scissors but I am sure they will still last a good amount of time. They are good and plenty sharp right out of the package which at the price point I was worried about. The blades are nice and straight. They do closely firmly and smoothly without any gaps. They operate very smoothly with not hitches. I admit that I think this scissor set is meant more for light household cutting and nothing heavy duty. However for a lightweight general purpose set they are a decent value and time will tell if they hold up providing nobody in my house misplaces them! I think I may get a few extra sets just to have them in different areas such as the kitchen, desk, sewing area and hobby area so that way there should always be a pair handy. So if you need a basic economical set for a variety of uses that you do not have to worry about the family losing or using your good fabric shears for non-fabric needs then this is definitely the set to get!

This Scissors Set which is a 5-Piece set is incredibly handy to have around. If your house is like mine, we can never find scissors!! This set includes a variety of sizes and strengths which is awesome. You can use these indoors or maybe even in your shop. You definitely have plenty of options. They are sturdy so far. I would recommend these scissors!

The Home Depot 5 pack assorted Scissors are well made and fits a variable amount of uses and features. One of the really wonderful features is that the plastic handles are light weight and above all for a person like myself that has big thumbs, they fit and their size makes it easy release, no fighting the small tight fitted ones. They are great for bandages as their sharp, fun for kids doing crafts, great in kitchen cutting packages and frozen food. Many uses for all things needing cut.

I got this 5 pack because I like having scissors for different uses such as packaging versus food handling. The quality of the scissor blades is standard and the handle is a light plastic material. These scissors are the about the same that I have been using for decades, but I like that I got 4 different sizes. The largest scissor has some extras to it which is nice. If you just need scissors for normal around the house use, then these will be great.

This scissor set comes with 5 different scissors to fit any household scissor needs. I used a piece of paper while cutting with each scissor to see how well they cut and felt in my hand. The three scissors without any additional accessories/features cut easily and with the same good quality. The other 2 scissors came with added features and did cut with a little more difficulty; especially, the one that is used when doing scrapbooking projects. See pictures for each scissor included. This is a great scissor set because of the variety of scissor sizes.

No more looking for a good pair of scissors.
