Sikaflex Construction Sealant is a non-sag product and is part of our retail/DIY line of products. Apart from the consistency differences, our commercial products are considered to be spec items that design professionals can include in their projects and are backed by significant field and independent testing. ProSelect items are more retail/DIY friendly and at times do not have the additional testing that commercial products require.

They are similar products, and can be used for the same types of applications, but 1A is for commercial use and the construction sealant is for home use.

However, they are formulated for different distribution channels. Sikaflex 1a is for the commercial market while Sikaflex Construction Sealant is for residential.
