A:  This may depend on the size of the hardwood flooring your installing (length), but one pack is likely enough for that small of a space.

A:  Yes one should be plenty since you are really only using them on the side of the room you are starting from. You may want to use a few on the ends of the boards as a guide to keep an even space on the sides.

A:  They didn't work well, period. A waste of money! You'd do better doing what I did - cutting 1/4" paneling into 6" wide strips and aligning them along the walls. You shouldn't have to do that with vinyl, though, because it won't expand like the wood does. You should be able to the vinyl right to the walls.

A:  Yes, this product will work.

A:  I would think that anywhere you need to put space between items they would work. They are really just little rubber shims. The benefit is in a big project, you need LOTS of them while you’re working. I haven’t installed the click vinyl, though.

A:  I purchased vinyl resilient plank flooring and used these spacers, they worked quite well.

A:  I did use them for spacing vinyl plank flooring at the baseboard to insure there is expansion space for the flooring. They worked OK.
