Can I use this to make my own extension cord by attaching the plug ends ie 50 foot cord , I have a 20 amp breaker
Yes. This is the intended use for stranded wiring, in flex applications. The black jacket resists scuffing and cutting as well as providing water resistance to 300v. You will want a NEMA 5-20 plug and socket, also available at Home Depot.
Yes you can just be sure the plugs can take the round profile some plugs are for flat wire
