Questions & Answers

Why is this project double the price of the ones before?

Answer This Question

My store still gives out the project at 9 am on the first Sat of the month. You might want to check. Some stores order only enough for the one day mine always has several boxes and for weeks after the event.

I agree! They used to give project kits for kids away for free along with an apron. Find a piece of scrap wood and put nails in it. The price is ridiculous for what you get.

I asked the same thing. Twice the price and a quarter of the value

          Shame on you, Home Depot
My son and I have been going to "Home Depot Day" on the first Saturday every month for 3 years... during the last 1.5 years, I have ordered each kit for $5 so we could keep up the tradition and some semblance of normal. Now you want $10-11 for each kit that was free in store?!? That's insane. The quality definitely hasn't changed for the better either. Shame on you, Home Depot.

            Haven't we gone through enough?
We used to be able to attend for free to the workshops and get these projects, then they started selling them for $5, now, this one is $10 and the August one is $11!!! Really??? $10-$11??? This is terrible! You know the people that buy these kits are your customers from before, who've been loyal to you, and this is how you repay them? Shameful!

                Not worth $10
This craft was not worth $10. Most other crafts for kids are only $5 and more engaging.

The star was OK. But if you are going to charge $10 for a item that used to be free. Please make sure it is properly valued. I didn't like paying $5 because the projects were fun and had learning value for my kids. I am still hoping that the in person workshops will start back up. My daughter has almost enough pins for her 100 PIN!
