Great
This is my 2nd machine. The first one lasted about 3.5 years. I love this machine and after doing research on all the other machines that are similar; I chose to buy this one again. Simply, because I didn't want all the problems others had complained about with their machines. Sure, it costs a few dollars more but it is worth it, and there is no need to bother with other companies that do not have customer service. I have had to send the machine back once and did not have any problems getting it fixed and returned quickly.

digital fabric steam fast 680
I reached a point where I couldn't face the ironing. On research about iron presses chose this model based on customer reviews. I've used the Steampress every day since receiving it from The Home Depot. They shipped on time, as promised, per online. It came in excellent condition. Read instructions; plugged it in, hit the steam 3 times, and I haven't stopped pressing and steaming since. Its fast and easy. Flannel shirts are a breeze; heavy cotton shirts are a little trickier, but so is ironing them. The length of the press is perfect for me. I've invested in linen bedding now with confidence that I will get crisp smooth finishes.

Used to have a machine just like that for about 20 years. I loved it. When it finally gave up on me I purchased one that had a lot smaller ironing surface. Was so upset that I spent this much money on something I didn't like that I made hubby iron for a few years. Finally found this one and oh my God! it is so nice. Now hubby wants to use it all the time and even asks me if I have something to iron! So easy, so spacious. Of course you have to place it on a table and sit across from it so not to get burned by it. Also yes people are correct in saying that you must move the clothes once more in order to iron the whole thing. But realize that bigger surfaced ironing machine that could do a whole item would cost a fortune. Hope you will try this one.

Definitely worth the money.
My wife actually now has my clothes ready for me to go to work. Before this it was a no go. Saves alot of time. Get with 3 foot stand and you won't regret it. Ironing takes much less then the old fashion way and looks great too. Ralph

very happy with ease in on-line ordering & tracking info.
I am very happy with this product. It is easy to work with. It came fully assembled & ready to plug in. A regular iron is still needed for some parts of some garments so it's not really a replacement. I love it for pants, slacks, T-shirts, table linens

I recently moved home to a quiet suburbs from a major city and needed a reliable dry cleaner. I was used to city cleaners (I grew to become friends with one) who would turn around my clothes in a day or two, at nearly any hour. However, being in the burbs, I would have to wait a minimum of 4 days (excluding weekends) - Side note, I work in the financial industry and I feel the intense need to have perfectly pressed, wrinkle free clothing. This product presses your pants to perfection (on a variety of materials - heavy wool, linen, polyester blends, etc). The steam function, granted, (do not steam with the lid down), works to loosen the fabric to get rid of old creases. It works well, but, I have a personal steamer for that. I do not use this product on shirts, since, most of mine are non-iron and I steam them individually. I will use it to press the collar, however. That works well. I can usually finish a pair of pants, even those that look like a yarn-ball due to lack of folding, within 5 minutes. This beats an iron. I will say that I do not wear pants with the pleats that stem from the waistline. I would not know if this product is good for that. Perhaps an iron? If you're someone who has a limited wardrobe in terms of dress pants and are incredibly picky about your creases, folds, and wrinkles, then this is the product for you. Obviously, there are more uses, but, I think the convenience is worth the money.

Putting it thru it's paces. Better than traditional ironing for sure. Steam isn't whas I thought and will take some getting used to. Basically you press button to mist garment then close and press. It also automatically shuts off faster than i would prefer.

I can not iron with my regular iron anymore. I do my laundry once a week and all ironing is done the same day too. I press my clothes while folding and hanging... it is just great. Does take some getting used to but once you are comfortable it saves a lot of elbow grease.
