What are the maximum diameter measurements the various clips and holes can hold? We have 20 parade flag poles to store & move (about 1.5 diameter each).
The largest holes on the top of the rack will accommodate a 1.5" diameter tool handle. The smaller holes will fit a tool handle that is approximately .75" in diameter. The side clips come in two sizes. The larger clips will hold up to a 1.5" diameter handle, and the smaller clips will hold up to a 1.25" diameter handle. There are approximately four larger clips located in the middle on both sides (8 total) and the smaller clips are located at the ends on both sides (12 total).

What is the largest diameter that will fit into the clips? I'm looking for something to hold my central vac poles and tools. Wondering if the clips will handle 1 1/4" poles, etc.?
Yes. Some of the items we have in it are that big.

The largest hole will fit a tool approx. 1-1/2 inch. diameter. The smallest hole will fit a tool approx. 3/4 inch. diameter.
There are 2 different size clips - the larger ones will hold up to 1.5" diameter and the smaller ones will hold up to 1 to 1.25" diameter. I believe there are about 4 larger ones located in the middle on both sides (8 total) and the smaller ones are located at the ends on both sides (12 total). Sorry, but my cart is outside in the garden shed so I don't have it right in front of me to see. I think you should be fine using it for your central vac poles and tubes. When you open the box, just check the clip part with your vac tools before assembling the cart - that way, if for some reason it doesn't work, you could always return it. It's a nice cart and I hope it works for you!

I tried that and the weight of the rifles buckled the lower section. It's back to being a garden tool holder.
Aj, Yes it could be used for long guns. The top notches are friction locks to hold broom and shovel handle size, the base is flat. It is sturdy enough to hold a full load of garden tools. The casters are swivel.
No. Rifles would slide out, the bottom is too smooth. I think the weight would make it unstable also.
