We ordered two of these caps to repair an 8 x 10 vinyl shed roof. It originally had a white plast...
We ordered two of these caps to repair an 8 x 10 vinyl shed roof. It originally had a white plastic center rafter to allow for light, but it cracked and deteriorated over the years. After removing the broken plastic pieces underneath, my wife sat atop the shed. She used Goop automotive glue that she applied to the bottom of these ridge caps, turned them right side up, and pressed them onto the roof. It took all of 30 minutes. This product is sealed completely to the shed. So far this summer has been especially hot, and we have not gone through a winter season. As of now; however, we are very pleased with this product; the ease of installation; and its appealing appearance. And, no more leaks.

So easy to install, looks fantastic and lets in just the amount of light we need!!!! Great choice for the greenhouse/glasshouse we built out of salvaged windows. Started this project last spring but stopped for winter will finish in the spring 2018. What a great product stood up to the New England Weather like a charm!!!!!!

Nice to have.
I ordered this product online for Grill House we built for a client. Having used polycarbonate roofing many times in the past, we had always 'made our own' ridge cap from a narrow slice of the roofing itself, bent over the top of the ridge...always looks a little makeshift if you look closely This product is made to match the corrugation of the palram polycarbonate. So, we decided to try it out.
It does match the roofing nicely, but not perfectly.
Also, it really needs to be screwed down every rib or at least every other rib in order to keep it straight and flat against the roof, as seen from the ground.
So, 4 stars because it could be a little stiffer and a fit a little more tightly over the shape of the roofing, but overall nice product. Client was quite pleased.

Exactly what was needed
I needed 2 pieces of ridge cap to complete my 'Home Designed' screen house - built entirely out of materials purchased at Home Depot. The Ridge Caps were easy to cut to the desired length and easy to drill where the screw holes were needed. All in all an excellent product. Thank-you Home Depot.

Product worked well with the roofing it was supposed to work with.
The roof caps were delivered on time. Although they appear to be made by a different supplier, they worked well and matched size and color-wise with the roofing panels.
