19 in. Plastic Portable Toolbox with Removable Tray in Orange

It arrived on time and as described. Several of our neighbors have attached it to their garden bed to hold garden tools in our community garden. That is what we are using it for as well.

This is a very nice box as it is very light weight and is deep enough to store several power tools. The Home Depot orange color makes it easy to locate

The Home Depot portable toolbox is a great for storing and transporting basic tools. It’s sturdy, lightweight, and is easy to transport. It can also be used to permanently store frequently used tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and your go to duct tape or painter’s tape. I recommend this product for any DIY user.

Solid toolbox with good sized removable tray. Latches are secure and easy to use. The toolbox is large enough to hold several tools. I am using it as a carrier on my lawn tractor for when I have to go out to work on something. It's not too big and will work great.

This is a great low-cost toolbox that will last a long time. This is the second toolbox of this type I have purchased. This toolbox has a great handle that makes it easy to carry for people with large hands or if you are wearing gloves. It also has a removeable tray that you can store smaller tools or other items on. The modular design makes these great for stacking on top of each other. The latches are adequate and made with metal. It also has an eye hole you can use with a standard padlock so that you can lock it on a jobsite. The bright orange color makes it easy to recognize.

This is a fairly well made toolbox. Good for new homeowners or if you live in an apartment to put a small collection of tools in. However not heavy duty if you work in the trades. The top removable tray will hold some screwdrivers and open end wrenches but not not a lot as it is not very deep. and the center wells will hold some screws or nails if you like. The tray locks in place with some small nubs on the side of box. The inside is deep enough to hold my Dewalt drivers and batteries with no problem. The latches on front secure it fairly well but the plastic hinges on the back might fail with too much weight in the box, they look a little thin. It will protect the contents from moisture but is not waterproof with a rubber seals like the orange marine rated boxes. I think I will use this for my electrical work to carry lineman pliers, cutters, strippers and soldering irons etc. Or maybe my wife may use for her crafting, it will hold a lot.

This box is helpful with plenty of space for tools and project parts. I always need another tool box to organize a project that needs a special set of tools and parts. This lightweight box is also sturdy with a sturdy handle construction. I like the new metal latches as well. It looks like it would also keep the inside dry in a light rain. The tray is another handy feature.

The toolbox is roomy for only being 19” wide. It includes a simple drop in tray for smaller tools. Two metal latches hold the lid shut. There’s also a location between the latches where a lock could be added. A fold down handle in the lid can be used to carry the toolbox. Overall, I’d say the toolbox is basic. It’s made from molded plastic that feels reasonably solid but I’m not sure how rugged it is because it also feels lightweight. Lightweight and rugged would be terrific. Time will tell. When I opened the lid for the first time one of the latches fell off. It slid back into place and works fine, but I think that’s adding to my question of its durability. That all said, the plastic construction should handle rain and water well. It could be a great option if you’re looking for a toolbox to take to outdoor job sites where rain and water are a concern.

The size and color are great. The carrying handle and inside top tray are both decent quality and there is a place to add a padlock. When testing out the latches we found that when you pop the bottoms, the tops automatically pop up and off making it very easy to pop open while carrying possibly resulting in a spill just by bumping the bottom part of the latch. We will not be using this for heavy or expensive items for this reason.
