A:  You would need to consult your OEM manual or contact the manufacturer directly. It is only recommended to use the specific mixture your manufacturer specifies.

A:  I believe there is a stamp on the bottom of the can that has the date it was canned

A:  I am not aware of a date but being ethanol free age is not as big a factor. Also I find in my area stores keeping it in stock is a good sign age is not a factor.

A:  Check the spark plug drain the tank and carb make sure the ratio is correct for your model blower

A:  First read your owner's manual and make sure the 40:1 mixture is the correct mixture and does not need to be the 50:1 mixture. Then remove the spark plug to make sure it's not "flooded". If not-reinstall the plug and try again. If it still will not start and it's a fairly new blower-then take it to a certified repair facility. I've been using the Trufuel for a while now and have had NO issues.

A:  First of all dump all old gas oil mix out of tank before adding new. I had same problem switching over on my weed eater brand blower. I pushed primer bulb the required number of times and it would run with choke on but would die after turning off choke. I did this several times and finally just put it down. I came back next day and I think pushing primer bulb six times as required finally got some of the old fuel oil mix and some new and finally started running.

A:  Dump out old fuel oil mix and add trufuel to tank. Push primer bulb six times and it will eventually get running off the new trufuel after it works the old fuel oil mix out of the lines

A:  I am not a small engine mechanic but you may want to switch out the spark plug with a new one. If this does not resolve the issue, then I would check with a qualified small engine mechanic.

    Q:How can put in

    Answer This Question

A:  The product is poured in to the fuel tank of the equipment. Be sure that all other fuel is removed from the tank for best performance.

A:  The gas and oil is already mixed in the can. You just pour it in the gas tank like gas.

A:  You pour it directly into the tank of your motor. Most fuel tanks have a nozzle larger than this fuel can top so you just carefully pour it in.

A:  Use this TruFuel in place of the gas/oil mixture that you have to mix yourself. The TruFuel is specially blended as an alternative fuel mixture and is safe to run in your weed eater. I use it all the time. And you don't have to guess at mixing the gas and oil in a standard gas can. Just simply pour it in the gas reservoir on your weed eater.

    An Excellent Product
Trufuel is an excellent product that I use routinely for my leaf blower and chainsaws but I haven't purchased Trufuel from Home Depot in years. Home Depot gives a good discount if bought in six-or-more can, currently $4.77 each, but unless and until Home Depot begins to stock Trufuel in case lots in the stores in addition to individual cans, I will not buy in loose cans which it seems that is all Home Depot carries in stock every time I've checked. There have been reported instances of people buying Trufuel, using the fuel and refilling the cans with gasoline (maybe) or worse and returning the refilled can to a store for a refund. Trufuel does not come in tamper-proof cans. All is well until the next customer that buys the returned cans ruins their equipment with fuel that has no lubrication added. Buying Trufuel in sealed cardboard case lots instead of individual cans minimizes this fraudulent act. I typically buy two (12 cans) to three(18 cans) cases of Trufuel at a time. Instead of deleting my review, Home Depot would do well to take notice and allow consumers the option to buy in case lots or individual cans in stores.

TruFuel is the Way to Go
I've been using TruFuel for a few years now but this is the first time I've needed the 40:1 Pre Oil Mix. I needed it for a new leaf blower. I'm not really a fan of gas powered tools but the power and lack of cord is a must at times. So if I have to deal with a gas power tool I want it to work and work well. TruFuel eliminates the hassle and mess of mixing. It's also a superior product since it's ethanol-free gas and synthetic oil. Yes it is a little expensive but having used it for a few years, I feel it's definitely work it.
