I like this lighter/torch because of the ease of use and functions. It comes with a bottle opener, kick stand and lock... I knocked off a star because it doesn’t work if I hold it at an angle or upside down, which is a bit annoying. But I do like it and would definitely buy another and recommend it to others...

I haven’t actually used it yet as it is in an emergency wiring repair kit that I carry in my tractor trailer for repairing broken wires usually on trailers that I pick up. The torch will melt shrink wrapped butt connectors when reconnecting wires to make a water tight repair that will be permanent and not need further attention by the shop. It will work great though in outdoor windy conditions where a lighter would not do the job. It is small and compact enough to go in a small bank deposit bag size tool bag that holds wire, stripping and crimping pliers and self fusing splicing tape. Everything needed for a professional wiring repair. It will likely be worthy of a 5 star review once used and proving itself.

This small torch is great and hope to see more of them in stores. I've used it to heat nuts stuck on bolts, heat frozen locks, heat shrink tape, and solder jobs in odd places. It refills easily and does not leak. I would suggest to use a premium butane gas. I've several of them so I can always have one handy.
