I went to use the table to put sewing machine on. Is there a weight limit? Is it sturdy?

Yes, I got mine last week and it was built and hung in about 2 hours
No it goes together just as pictured.
Does the table work as a dining table?
I wouldn't suggest using it as a dining table, the table portion is not the most sturdy and there is only one bracket that attaches the fold out table top to the blackboard leg. The whole unit is pretty flimsy even when I just have my laptop on it.
It sure could as the correct table height. Great space saving piece of furniture !
