A:   I wouldn’t, it’s super narrow and really needs to be mounted to the wall for support, plus wheels would raise the height and then the desk that drops down wouldn’t touch the floor.

    A:  I have this unit at my place - when the table is up the unit is only about 7 inches. When the murphy table is down, it is 36 inches.

      This desk is great for all people..im using it in my home salon as a manicure table and stylist station..everything stores nicely..could be just a little deeper, reason for the 4 stars

      This murphy desk is the perfect size for my small space. Only 4 stars because I feel it is a little overpriced for the quality. The particle board splits easily if you do not have the screws lined up EXACTLY right. And the directions state 45 minutes for assembly...that's a joke; plan on double that time. Overall happy with the purchase.

        This is a great functional addition to my home. I now have a small home office area that can be easily tucked away behind a chic chalkboard. Would have appreciated chalkboard accessories as I do think this piece is slightly overpriced... ummmm, yes I paid what I paid and have no regrets as I do like the piece, this is just a review. That being said the height adjustable shelfs (especially the angled shelves) are so light light in weight that they pop out of place with the slightest nudge. It's quick and easy to fix, just a slight peeve. I do appreciate how this piece is secured to the wall so there's less anxiety with my little ones around.
