Upon receiving this tool in the mail I have seriously put this thing to work. It takes the place of 3 tools needed for demolition and it does all 3 jobs to profection. I really like the hatchet like end that allows you to chop and pry with no problem. Amazingly I like the narrow hammer end also. This tool really increased my demolition skills. Suggest you give it a try.

Not just a demo bar, you will also find this useful for framing construction. 2x limber fits in the saddle area of the bar for tweaking and twisting prior to nailing in place. You can only twist studs by hand a small amount, but this will give you a lot more leverage. There are plenty of other surfaces on this tool for demo work, like nail pulling, prying, hammering, chiseling, scraping, ramming and smashing. A good large rubber grip make handling easier. Weighing in at 2-1/2 pounds, it isn’t so heavy that you will become fatigued, and it isn’t too light to do some serious work. Some other things that I would consider requirements before using this tool are safety glasses, gloves, and a dust mask for demolition of old work. One improvement that I would make if I had designed this tool would be to give it a bit of color. It’s too easy to loose tools in a demo site, and the grey color of this tool would only make it harder to find. I plan on giving it bit of orange or yellow paint from a spray can, at least on the ends.

I love the features of this tool. It's a "hammer companion". Great for Demolition & Framing. It has enough weight to carry heft in a swing. Dont expect to use as a hammer as the small surface will be difficult to successfully contact nail heads as a traditional hammer would. I like to use it for twisted studs but you can't always get it into position especially if there is an obstruction or your framing a pre-existing wall. 9ver all I would recomend!

I had a drywalled wall. Beautiful. No holes or scratches . But that all changed once I hit it with The Vaughan Rage. Holes appeared each time The Vaughan made contact.
