If made of vinyl, any issues using a skill saw to cut it shorter if needed?
Hi Brian, you could use a skil saw, but there is an aluminum core inside and it is better if you could use a miter saw instead. A skil saw would need to make multiple cuts since the blade isn't big enough to go through in one pass. Thanks!

Current building codes require a separate rail to run parallel with stair railing. How do you do that with this post?
Hi Dan74, once you attached the stair rail to that post if that post is at the top of the stairs, then you have to run ADA hand rail underneath the railing, so it gets attached lower on that post. Thanks!
