Same price as various traps, and lasts longer
I installed this in our attic after hearing a critter over our bedroom during the night. We have an outlet up in the attic for holiday lights and a fan, so it was easy to add this little pest deterrent. Since it is a 3-pack, I also added one in our laundry room and kitchen. The blue light indicates it has power and is working, and the sound is high frequency so neither I nor my younger children (with better hearing) can detect it. 2 weeks in, and no rodent sounds at all!

These do not work
After cleaning up any signs of mice, I put one of these in my <100 sq ft camper (note: there is no food in the camper). After finding more signs of mice, I placed ANOTHER one of these in the small space (when technically one should be good for 300 sqft room). When I returned, there was literally fecal matter RIGHT next to one (see attached). I reached out to Victor and they replied "Sometimes a pest control effort requires several different tools and methods." My god. Don't waste your money.

Waste of money
I purchased these for the house I am renting to place in the utility/washer and dryer room.
They have been plugged in for months and they did not work. I have trapped up to 8 mice in the same small room that one of these are plugged up. See photo.

Thank you for sharing this recent experience. If traps are being baited and set in the same area as the repellent, then the mice may still enter the area as they are drawn to the food. We recommend eliminating the mice with traps, then removing them to allow the unit to discourage any additional mice from entering.

Victor pestchaser M753K
I bought this 3 pack of Pestchaser M753K repellers for a few reasons. I have mice and /or rats in my garage. I sometimes have them in my car. They are in my wife's greenhouse. I just bought them, and haven't tried getting rid of any rodents yet. I saw this product has mostly good reviews, and with such a good price, thought I'd give them a try. The garage probably won't be the best test however, as it has a lot of stuff in it, although no food. The car I wasn't sure if I could do, so the very first thing I did after getting home, was cutting the plastic and taking one apart. After looking up the chip number, I was happy to see it operates on 5-15 volts, perfect for a car battery, and easy to hook wires to the AC sides of the diodes, so polarity won't matter. You really should make a 12 volt model as well!!! So I will be trying it in the car, running off the battery. Draws under 4 mA, so the battery won't notice it at all. To make sure it was working, i hooked the oscilloscope to the piezeo speaker, and measured 53kHz, so it is indeed working. I think for the greenhouse, I will use a small solar panel and battery on another converted one, as I really don't want to have a 120v device where it has a chance of getting wet. Hopefully they will be worth my early 5 star rating, but time will tell.

DOESN'T WORK
Doesn't work. We have a rat in our house that wanders around various rooms, I've used a Trail cam to watch it. It ignores traps and even food near traps so I bought these repellents. Rat ignored them. See photos.

Nice small compact device. I have the unit plugged in the dining room/kitchen area that is open and not surrounded by furniture, etc to block the signal in any way. (This is recommended by manufacturer) The blue night light feature is just an added bonus. I have had it plugged in for approximately 2 weeks and no issues to report. This seems so easy compared to alternative methods ie; bait or traps.

I saw a mouse in our house and really didn’t want to set out traps because we have 2 dogs. I came across the Pestchaser which uses high frequency to cause pain in the mouse which would cause the mouse to leave the area. I’ve started the process of sweeping the house with the 3 devices. Using power strips to get the devices at ground level as instructed. They just plug into a 110 ac receptacles. One of the limitations is that the sound waves are blocked by furniture and curtains and other things on the ground. So it may take longer to flush this mouse out than I originally thought. It’s been 3 days and no trace of a mouse, I thinking he’s hiding in the house

My house and barn seems like a scene from Willard. I can't bait them because of the danger to the other animals. They are getting wary of the traps ( I have several different kinds).
The last 4 days since I have put the Pestchaser to work have been the quietest. No squeaking in the house; no scurrying away of little feet when I come into the barn.
If this keeps up I may be rat free soon.

I love Victor PestChasers. Here in the Arizona desert we have Kangeroo Rats, a small mouse sized rodent that will get in through an open garage, soooo, I put 3 of these in my 2 car garage, one on each side of the door and one by the house entry door. Have always used this type of Victor unit and have never had a problem in 9 years. Simply plug it in for coverage in medium-sized rooms such as kitchens, living rooms & bedrooms. It works by emitting a high-frequency sound that humans and most pets cannot hear at all.
