Great packaging, arrived safe. I bolted it on top of my battery box and wired it to my 100 ah battery. I used it the other night for an hour when the power went off, connecting a fan and my modem. Worked flawlessly. I did add a 250 amp fuse between the battery and the inverter for protection. I plan on using this setup for the PSPS here in California, when PG&E cuts the power to us rural towns to prevent wild fires from downed electric lines during dry weather and high winds.

Takes more than it gives
I have a 12v 200 ah battery pack set-up, the power draw required from an inverter is 800 watts, 115v, 4 amps, for only 4 hours at a time. The specs for this inverter requires 1 ah just to be on, cool, nothing wrong with that. So by calculations according to Wagan specs that's 5 amps per hour, at 4 hours, that's 20 ah a day. My battery pack was drained dead in under an hour, and yes it was still charging from the solar panels the whole time. Over 200 ah in less than an hour is insane
