AnswersIt is chrome plated plastic. While I have not had it very long, I noted that other reviewers found it quite durable and know it came with a 5 year warranty. My previous stopper from a different company was chrome and it was terrible.
what are the dimensions of this? I purchased a similar tiem but the stem was too long and the seal did not properly work.

The Watco Push Pull Bathtub Stopper was an exact replacement to what I had in the bathtub. I had to order it online from Home Depot as the only bathtub stopper available at my Home Depot location was a cheap knockoff version made by Danco that I would not purchase even though it was several dollars less then the one I purchased. They are not manufactured to work the same way. I think Home Depot needs to offer both of these stoppers in their retail store to give customers a choice to purchase a better quality product or a less expensive option. The Watco version I purchased is worth the few extra dollars versus the Danco version but I would have preferred to have been given the choice to purchase it in-store versus online.

This is exactly what I needed to replace a similar looking stopper from a different that never worked properly.
This one from Watco is excellent! It was super easy to install once I got rid of the old one. This one works perfectly! It is easy to raise it up and lower it intentionally with ease.
