The Riviera vinyl stair railing kit provides a clean, elegant look paired with superior strength and durability all at an affordable price. Fade resistant and built to last, the Riviera is produced leveraging our exclusive, engineer-tested manufacturing process and the highest-grade materials to create the strongest, most durable, low-maintenance vinyl railing anywhere. Easy to maintain, you will never need to paint, stain or apply harsh chemicals to clean it. The Riviera vinyl railing will add value to your home for decades to come. The Riviera railing kit comes ready to assemble and includes all of the brackets and instructions you'll need for installation, making it the perfect solution for the do-it-yourself homeowner as well as professional contractors or installers. The Riviera stair railing is 36 in. tall x 72 in. wide with a T-Rail top rail and 2 in. x 3.5 in. bottom rail, .875 in. x 1.5 in. rectangular pickets and aluminum inserts in the top and bottom rails for superior strength. The brackets provided are intended for a stair angle of 28° to 42°. Since the railing is being installed at an angle, the actual coverage will be less than the rail size. The Riviera stair railing is also available in 96 in. wide stair [CWR-T36-E8S] sections as well as in 42 in. tall sizes. The Riviera railing includes hidden fastener brackets, making it the perfect railing option to add beauty and safety to your home.

  • If ordering multiple sections, your order must ship with a 3rd party freight carrier; the trucking company will call to set a date and time frame for delivery; you are responsible for the hand-off loading the product from the end of the truck, curbside; shipment is unsafe for lift-gate; the product is shipped unassembled and the individual pieces weigh no more than 20-25 lbs. so that they can be easily managed during hand-off loading; you may choose "Pick Up In Store" if you prefer to have your order shipped to your local Home Depot store

Q:Whats the difference between riviera and vanderbuilt models?

A:  Good question! The difference between the Riviera and Vanderbilt models are basically the spindle shape. Riviera has a rectangular shaped spindle .875" x 1.5" and the Vanderbilt has a 1.5" square spindle.     Q:The instructions say to use a 'high tooth count' miter saw blade to cut both the vinyl rail and aluminum insert at the same time - is a 60 tooth count carbide tipped blade sufficient, would a 180 tc steel blade be better (or not suitable at all?)

    A:  Great question! Likely the 60 tooth count blade would be sufficient but the more teeth on the blade, the finer and cleaner cut you will make.           Absolute junk
          Theses products are so overpriced for the junk that they are. Tried installing a stair kit only to find out after the fact the holes for the spindles are too small when leaning them back. Opened up the holes some but still does not work. 32 degrees does not work for cutting these as some stairs have a sharper angle. Word of advice get adjusable brackets

            Was disappointed in this product. Used multiple sections of there deck railing and couldn't be happier with them. Stair railing instructions said it would work on a angle of 28 to 42 degrees. My project measured 34 degrees. When I put the railing in place the pickets were not even close to being plum. By the time I cut the top rail to plum the pickets, it was to short to fit between my post. I had to add a 2x6 block of wood to take up the space. Kind of defeated the maintenance free aspect of using vinyl railing.
