AnswersYes it worked for me. While it does not come with it's own dimmer it seems to work just fine with a universal dimmer wall switch. In my case I am using a legrand lc2101 smart dimmer switch, so I imagine that it will work with any universal dimmer switch.

These lights worked perfectly for our Garage Bar. We purchased one 48ft strand, two 12ft strands and one 6ft strand to wrap them all the way around. Had to purchase other fasteners because the ones it came with didn’t work for us. The cool white lights are pretty bright so we also picked up (separately for approx $15) a LED Lamp dimmer switch that you plug in an outlet and plug the lights in to the dimmer switch. It allows you to dim them to your liking by sliding the switch up or down to adjust the brightness. I’m concerned if these lights will last or not. A couple of the individual lights have already gone out since we hung them a week ago. Not super noticeable, but concerning since it took a lot of effort to hang them and it wouldn’t be easy to take down and replace. Overall very happy with this purchase.
Media Room ceiling recessed alcove application

Recently build a new house, the media room had a fancy recessed alcove with LED tape lights. After a year we found out that the electrician installed an underpowered tape-light driver which resulted in a very short life span.
A properly sized driver would have set me back $200, so I took a chance and had a 2nd electrician replace the hard wired driver with a standard outlet in the alcove and purchased the Westek Indoor/Outdoor 48 ft. White LED Rope Light Kit.
I am very happy to report that these light work like a champ and I am happy.
However, I will say that these lights, as advertised, have a color temperature 4500K. I would have preferred something in the 2700-3000 range, but these are good enough and saved me a bundle.
