The Westek MLC12BC-4 Indoor Plug-In Corded Motion Activated Light Control gives power to a light/radio/appliance when motion is detected. Can the sensor be wall mounted?
Sometimes the switch just blinks (turns on and off) 3 times instead of turning on normally. Is this a defect?
I want to install this in my garage. If I was to enter the garage and pitch darkness, would it trigger the light to turn on?

The detection field is a 100-degree cone perpendicular to the face of the sensor. It should work on top of a 9’ wall, provided the distance from person to sensor is enough that the cone has time to spread out to reach the target person.
