A:  It is rust resistant as long you don't leave it outside in the elements of the weather. I knew right away that this rack doesn't has the durability like a heavy duty wooden drying rack like anything else one has to be gentle with things. I have seen light weight wooden drying racks just as flimsy as this chrome drying rack. You get what you are paying for, if you are looking for something that is sturdy then you will have to pay for it. For the price of this drying rack it is worth it.
