The 24-Hour Power Strip Timer makes it easy to program the lights and other electronics in your house. There are 48 ON/OFF settings for the timer, giving you half-hour increments. The circuit breaker will shut off the power if it becomes overloaded. Nice outlet with 4 timed/ 4regular outlets
This outlet has 4 timer controlled and 4 other outlets. All 8 are switched by a common switch, which is next to the power cord. Timer setting is intuitive, but the override is a bit too small for easy control. It is a big improvement over plug-in timers with 'adventurous' outlets on the sides. I wish there was a dedicated switch for the four always-on outlets.

After 2 wks, the unit started to malfunction. I had to physically turn it on and off in order to make use of the grow lights for my plant seedlings.

does not turn off at the set time. runs all night. had to return. really wanted this to work well.

Not sure why there are four outlets not regulated by the timer. All outlets should be regulated by the timer. If I wanted a regular power strip, I would have save some bucks and not gotten the timer. Not enough space between outlets for large plugs. Poorly designed switch for selecting timed, off, and always on - label is not clear ("I" for off), and hard to turn. My fat fingers accidentally push down the outer things that set the times for the timer. All in all, not a great design.
