      A:  Hello, the Wyze Lock Bolt operates using Bluetooth and can only be unlocked locally within the app when you are within Bluetooth range. However, the Wyze Lock Bolt does have a Keypad and Fingerprint feature for operations. If you need a device that can be unlocked through the app from anywhere using WiFi, you may consider the Wyze Lock, as it operates through WiFi in the app. The Wyze Lock can be setup in the app using 2.4GHz network, regardless of your internet service provider (ISP) such as Cox. However, it does not directly integrate with ISP systems like Cox.             I got this once my wyze lock stopped working after 2 yrs. The inital bolt was defective. Took over 2 wks to get a replacement. Finally got a working one and it is great. Dont have to carry keys around again.

            Locks disconnect from the Wyze app
            12-22 we replaced 6 door locks with this keyless, fingerprint Wyze lock; registered our purchases with Wyze. 12-23 changed email on the account: all the devices disappeared from the app. Wyze "sincerely regrets" that the locks remain "paired" to some account that no one can access so they cannot be paired again nor reset. So these locks can for no apparent reason disappear from your Wyze account and you are out of luck if it's not within 30 days of purchase (not of installation). Buyer beware.
