AquaLift Oven Cleaning Kit

Lot of good the kit does when the auqalift feature is basically useless when it come to getting the over clea. I've always had whirlpool products but I'll never buy their stove again if it has this useless cleaning feature.

Aqualift is useless and the cleaning kit won't work. Going to use regular oven cleaner

Bought a self cleaning gas oven with aqua clean. Worst system ever. If lucky, cleaning system loosens gunk, then you need to wipe it all out. It is a self cleaning oven that needs to be cleaned.

The stove was in the house when I moved in, and I just now used the aquaclean feature. Sponges and scrapers do little good after the "cleaning" cycle. There is hope for the bottom of the oven, but what am I supposed to use on the sides when standard oven cleaners are "forbidden." It is a useless feature, so how am I supposed to get a clean oven?

I bought this range 3 years ago (Model WEG730H0DS0). I like the range, however, there are 2 issues that bother me. 1. The aqualift feature is essentially useless. It loosens crud on the bottom but does nothing for the wall or door. I am going to try that affresh* Kitchen and Appliance Cleaner to see if that will help. 2. The burner knobs are mounted on top in front of the burners. I like the location. But on multiple occasions now they have turned on when accidentally bumped. Most scary is when the knob turns just enough to release gas but doesn't ignite. Recently we didn't hear the clicking and didn't know a burner was slightly on but not ignited until our son got up in the middle of the night and noticed a natural gas odor. Maybe Whirlpool can correct with a design tweak. Gave it 3 stars because I like the range over all, but wouldn't no recommend aqualift oven cleaner to anyone.

I bought a new house with Whirlpool gas stove. The AQUALIFT cleaning is terrible. It’s messy and doesn’t clean at all. This is basically a manual clean oven.

This cleaning process doesn't work. Have to clean about 4 times but still doesn't lift dirt. Also doesn't clean the sides. Worst cleaning system I have ever used.

I have read the following reviews of the Aqua Lift cleaning. I just purchased a Westinghouse Gas Range. I like everything about it except the Aqua-Lift cleaning. From years of baking and cleaning ovens, I knew this feature was not magic. It takes more than a little hot water to clean an oven. My only solution is to clean up grease and spills after each use of the stove top as well as the oven. Can’t avoid old fashion elbow grease. The oven bakes great.

I agree this aqualift cleaning is a joke. It does not clean the walls of oven and still must scrub the bottom to a degree. As per instructions everytime a spill needs to be cleaned, I am suppose to add the water wait for 40 minutes then clean my oven. Well I don't know about you but after I have made dinner and cleaned up in the evening the last thing I am going to do is clean my oven. Mine is a Kitchenaid and I would never buy another aqualift oven, so disappointed as just bought in July 1018.

This "kit" came with my very expensive Whirlpool Aqualift Technology stove/oven. What a joke! As the other reviewers say, AquaLift is a failure. My oven does not even come close to clean, and this "kit" that consists of a viscose sponge, what looks like a Magic Eraser, and a plastic scraper is, well, ineffective to say the least. Had I known all this, would never have purchased. Now I'm stuck with a dirty oven and have no idea how to safely clean it.
