what is polycarbonate and is it good for vinyl tile floors
Our chairmats are made from PVC which is a vinyl and makes them more pliable and less susceptible to cracking when used on the correct application. Whereas a polycarbonate is more rigid, like plexiglass. It is recommended that you always check with your flooring manufacturer before using any chairmat on your floor.
Is the edge beveled?

Good Morning, Thank you for the great question. This mat is designed for Hard Floor surfaces and only has texture on both sides of the mat. This is to keep the mat in place. This mat is a rectangle shape and has a straight edge with rounded corners. Thank you!

We do not recommended cutting this item, it will void the limited lifetime warranty.
I’m looking for a mat that will not roll up due to thickness and/or plastic hardness

Good Morning, We can ship our chairmats either flat or rolled. The mats can roll for shipping and then they will flatten back to their memory of being flat and you will never know they have been rolled. I hope this information helps.
What are all of the dimensions? The picture shows an area that is about 2' wide that goes under the desk in the foot well, however, the only dimensions listed are rectangle 36 x 48.
The dimensions of 36 inches by 48 inches includes the lip. The actual mat portion measures 36 inches by 38 inches.

The thickness is .125'' and the lip measures 20'' x 10''.
NO LIP, IT IS ABOUT 1/8" THICK

There is nor specific difference since Vinyl, is a synthetic substance composed of resin or plastic.
I placed mine outside in the sun to help flatten it when I first got it That also allowed it to “air out” a bit. I still noticed the chemical smell when I moved it inside, but the smell lessened and disappeared over the course of a couple weeks.
The mat we got took a couple of days to warm up and lay flat, perfect size for what we needed
