3 ft. Brass and Wooden Ball Beaded Chain

i wrote this review because, for Christmas i received a very cool neon light for my man-cave, it had the cheapest string pull cord . i have ever seen so i needed a new one. now this is only a pull chain but it looks great and when you compare it to the string pull cord which came with the light. this is a major improvement. see the pictures, i love it.

i WAS REALLY WANTING FOR THE CHAIN. I have a fan with light kit, and the 2 pull chains for light and fan were only about 6 inches long supplied by the fan's manufacturer. The fan was on a 10 feet ceiling and I could not reach the chanin to tun On or OFF the fan and light. This new chan from GE made my day. Now i have to buy one more, since the package contains only one 3 feet chain. This is very convenient for any fan/light fixture with short pull chain and high ceiling.

Good product

The chain and wooden ball pull chain have worked out well as a pull-chain extension for a light bulb fixture in my work closet. It is strong, flexible, and reliable, and I would definitely consider getting another one to extend the pull-chain on one or more of my ceiling fans, particularly one that is mounted on a rather high ceiling, where the three-foot length of the chain would be ideal.

Three foot long, bright brass, snap bead chain connector with a small wooden bead the size of a grape at the end, perfect. My wife tends to use our light fixture pull chains like they were attached to a steam ships whistle so having a light weight wooden ball instead of one of those heavy metal decorative weighted ends is a plus for me. The weight of the chain holds itself down so no real issue if you just use two fingers like your suppose to. Also since I'm much taller than the wife the chain has to be longer and I tend to hit my head with the heavy metal ones. nice product, has everything to install

This beaded chain was perfect for our Hunter ceiling fan we have installed in our bedroom. It has the little bead lock which actually didn't come with our ceiling fan, so for a while we just had beads - so it is nice that this works for really any bead chain that you need. The grip on the pull down is quite nice and works well. Overall we found a solution with this chain and worked very well for us!

This is a very nice yellow brass chain about three feet long with a dark wooden ball on the end that can be extended from a pull switch chain. I especially like the golden color which matches the trim on my ceiling fan. I had to take off the decorative end piece of the pull switch that was already on the chain so I could connect the brass chain onto the pull switch.

This is a great replacement for your ceiling fan or overhead light or you can get creative and use it as a pull cord for a child's toy like a truck, car, bus, or duck. Its an attractive polished brass bead style chain that adds a bit of style as well as function. The wooden ball makes it easy to see as well as grab and it keeps your hand from slipping off the end of the chain. I do recommend it to others.

This chain appears to be well made. Wooden ball is clean, simple and attractive, and is attached well. Brass finish looks good. All of our ceiling fans/lights are operated by wall switches or remote controls and are mounted on 8' ceilings, so we really didn't need the chain for these. But, we have 6 - 4' LED shop lights in the garage/shop. They are switched (2 on 1 switch, 4 on the other). We don't need all the lights on either switch when just grabbing a tool, parts, supplies, or something from the freezer, so I leave some of them off (while others are switched on) when not needed (saves a bit on electric bill), and use the pull chains to turn those lights when needed for work. The chains on these lights are too short for me to reach easily, so I'm using this chain to make 3 - 12" extensions for them. Had to get a few couplings, but that's no big deal. Sure beats standing on my toes and stretching to turn these lights on when working on projects. Didn't include any pics because they wouldn't add anything to this review.

This beaded chain arrived packaged very well. We have a ceiling fan that the chain recently broke we were looking replace the chain and this fit perfectly. Looks very nice and with our fan and works great. It hangs low enough to reach but high enough not to bump into it. Great replacement part would recommend it as its easy to switch out no tools needed.
