6 ft. 2-Wire 16-Gauge Polarized Indoor Extension Cord, White

This 9 foot 2 Wire 15 gauge indoor extension cord is very convenient to have around the house for simple 2 wire plug ins. I have it plugged by my bed to plug in my phone, tablet, shaver and my wife's hair blow dryer. Our bedroom outlet is at an that's hard to reach so with this extension cord makes all the much more easier. The extension cord comes in white and blends in nicely next to the baseboard. Keep in mind this cord is for indoor use only and has a rotary safety cover to help protect against shock. The maximum Amps is 13 and maximum Volts is 125. The 9 foot length makes if very easy to plug in and have plenty of room to use. I've used it many times to cut with my hair trimmer. It's awesome.

There has been one major change to wall outlets and extension cords over the past decade and that is the addition a feature that keesp little hands from inserting metal objects into the outlet and suffering an electrical shock. This extension cord has covers that swivel 90 degrees to close off the holes when a particular outlet is not in use. This seems like a better idea that the typical cover that is easier for a child to just pull or pry the cover out of the outlet. That's a nice feature. The strain reliefs seem well designed to prevent the copper wires from breaking prematurely. Extensions like this are fine for lamps and Christmas ornaments that require power. They should never be used with a device that requires a ground even if you can find an adapter to make them work with such devices.

This is a basic 6' extension chord. I needed this to get power from behind the bed plug to the night table (so I can plug in my phone). I wanted the shortest chord possible so there wouldn't be a lot of slack collecting dust bunnies. The chord has 3 two pronged polarized outlets with rotary safety covers and can handle a maximum of 13 amps, 125 volts, and 1,625 watts. Works for me!

15 FT. 2-WIRE 16-GAUGE POLARIZED INDOOR EXTENSION CORD is really long and has three separate connectors and all are protected so kiddies don't stick things in them. The color is white and looks good. The fifteen foot length is great as you can stretch it out to extend, say, a standup fan for cooling other areas of your home. Very pleased with product. There ya go!

This is a very good extension cord. Things that are important to me are the 16 gauge and the fact it is polarized. It feels sturdy enough to be safely used for years to come!
