- Your furniture can be finished in a variety of ways, but it's important to follow the instructions of your chosen finishing medium. Additional sanding is recommended before staining for the best results.
- For a beautiful, natural wood finish, a finishing wax is a great option. First, sand the wood, then apply a thin, even coat of paste wax with a lint-free cloth or brush along the grain. Let it dry to a haze (15-30 minutes) before buffing it with a clean cloth for a smooth, polished surface. Apply additional coats for more durability and shine.
- How do you prevent damage? For surfaces, we recommend using a coaster, trivet, placemat, or table cloth to protect wood surfaces from heat and/or water. Do not place hot items directly on your surface. When writing on a wood surface, protect it with a writing pad. In the end, treating your furniture well will be the determining factor in how long it lasts and how well it looks over time.

What assembly is required?
this piece comes to you completely flat so you must assemble the drawer and then the four sides of the table. You can call the consumer hotline to request a copy of the assembly instructions or for any parts needed. 888-944-8396.
What are the inside measurements of the drawer?

Can the 2 Mission-style vertical bars running up the sides between the legs be removed?
The mission style wood bars are already attached to the side frames so they are not easily removed.
Is the drawer handle 'screwed' into place? Can it be replaced?
Yes. The knob just screws into the front of the drawer. You could replace it with a fancier one.

What kind of stain is best for this?
The nice thing about parawood AKA rubber tree is that it can immolate any other wood with the right stain. I prefer Minwax over other products. Follow the instructions carefully, it’s important you use long slow brush struck when applying stain. DO NOT USE stain with any poly mixes, it will not work on this wood. Stain first, then use lacquer.
