Rather than removing beneficial minerals like old-fashioned salt softeners, the NuvoH2O system uses a citrus-based formula, called CitraCharge, to bind hard minerals. Once bound to CitraCharge the minerals cannot form scale. It can even extend the life of costly water heaters. There's no change in your water's taste either. The Manor system is designed for homes greater than 1,500 sq. ft. Cartridge replacement is recommended every 6 months.

Hi Ronnie! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Blue water can occasionally occur after installing a new cartridge and is typically related to a temporary reaction between the system and existing copper buildup in the plumbing. This can happen if the cartridge wasn’t soaked before use, if the previous cartridge was fully depleted, or due to factors like plumbing grounding, water heater buildup, or changes in municipal water treatment. In most cases, this is temporary and will clear as the system flushes out existing buildup. To help resolve this, we recommend ensuring the cartridge is properly soaked, flushing your lines, and verifying that your plumbing is properly grounded. If you have a water heater that has an anode rod, we recommend finding out how old the water heater and rod are, and potentially replacing the anode rod. Our team would be happy to work with you directly to identify the cause and get this resolved as quickly as possible. Please email cs@nuvoh2o.com or call (877) 688-6426. -NuvoH2O Customer Service

It's always best to consult a professional plumber if you are unsure about any aspect of the installation process.
No, a separate tank is not needed with this unit.
Yes, you can still water your plants with hose bibs after installing the NuvoH2O Manor system. This system conditions the water without removing the beneficial minerals, so it's still safe for your plants.
This system conditions the water and prevents scale buildup, but it does not filter out chlorine. For chlorine removal, you would need a separate filtration system.
Hello Gracy, this system will not filter sulfur from your water.
