Are there reinforced holes in it already for using zipties like shown in the picture?
Hi Kristine, there aren’t any reinforced holes in it. It comes with a hole puncher so you can create the holes yourself to fit your banister perfectly. Please let us know if you have any further questions!

Cannot measure thickness in ml, but it is about as thick as a vinyl placemat. You can cut it with very sharp scissors but it will not tear. Hope that helps.
How is the plastic installed on the wall side?
The Indoor Banister Guard comes with anchors, screws, amd washers. If you need to attach to the wall on one end, you would want to leave enough extra of the material to fold/roll flat against the wall. Then you could use the screws to attach along the wall.
What is the color of it , is it transparent?
It is a completely transparent plastic, no design on it. You can see right through it, and it’s not noticeable unless you’re up close to it. We’ve had it up for 2 1/2 years or so now and it’s worked great protecting my daughter when she’s upstairs.
Yes. The guard is transparent. Easy to install and took less than an hour to do so. Our two daughters (1yr and 3yr) occasionally bang on it, but I’d rather hear that sound and know they are safe than to have to worry every time they leave their bedroom

The Banister Guard has not been tested and is not rated. It is intended to be used in conjunction with stair railing not to replace it.
Can homedpot help cut it's height to 27in (and diagonal to fit in stairway?) Or manufacturer can pre-cut it and ship?
Sorry, the store cannot make precise cuts, check with your local store to see if you can special order them pre-cut to your angle. You can also rent a miter saw and cut them on the jobsite yourself.
The Child Safety Indoor Banister Guard can be cut with scissors. It sounds like a very precise need and would need to be done onsite. You might could use something to make a template, and then lay it out on top and cut it.
We will be building a loft that will be close to a paddle fan. We will be using this to prevent our little ones from reaching out to sticking their hands in the blades of the paddle fan (placed on the banister i know, but how do you secure it in place?)
