Will this work in a canister light fixture?
Hi, Jean. Not directly. This Duncan is a hardwired, rod hung pendant with a ceiling canopy, and it’s meant to mount to a proper ceiling electrical box. Stay Golden~
Can the shade be changed later (while still hardwired) if desired?
Yes, the shade can be changed while hardwired. You will need to take out the light bulb and socket ring that screws on, which keeps the shade on and gives support to the light bulb. Any of our fixtures with a downward facing shade can be changed while hardwired in. Thanks, Stay Golden!
Can the length of the rod be adjusted? If so, how short can the rod become?
The shortest rod length is 6 inches.
I get so confused looking at this Duncan pendant. Could you please tell me how many different sizes this pendant comes in? It appears as 3 different width sizes. 6.5, 8.8 and 14. Is this correct? I am looking for the seafoam shade with black rod or brass rod. Is it very difficult to find the color combination and size I want.
The only option left with the rod is in the black rod, the aged brass rod with seafoam shade is no longer available.
