How many quarts does the strainer basket inside hold? Can you take the lid apart to wash it?
Hi there, The basket holds 4.4 quartz. Yes, you can take the lid apart for washing and the inner wheel within the lid can optionally be removed for futher cleaning. To remove, first flip the rotating lid upside down. Then using both hands, place your fingers in and around the inner wheel, on opposing sides, and gently pull the inner wheel out. Hope this info helps you, thanks.
Instruction said "break through and peel back the protective plastic film from around the salad spinner". I can't find the seam to peel the protective plastic film. How to I proceed with removing the plastic film?
