Questions & Answers
Does the 28418000 holder work with this Grohe handheld sprayer?
The GROHE 28418000 hand shower holder is compatible with standard hand showers. Because the hand shower rests directly on top of the holder while the tapered hose nut sits inside the bracket, it fits virtually any hand shower that uses a standard 1/2" conical hose connection.
I have an older Grohe shower handheld unit that needs to be replaced. I'd like to only replace the handheld unit, not the wall unit or cable. Will this new unit snap onto the same metal hose? Do you think the chrome color matches the old unit?
It is our pleasure to have you select GROHE for your shower fixtures. Please be informed that all GROHE hand showers are designed with a 1/2" connection to ensure universal compatibility with all of our hoses, allowing for seamless replacement of your existing unit. However, to confirm if the finish will correspond with your currently installed fixture, we would require the model number of that fixture. For assistance with this matter, we suggest reaching out to our support team at GROHE.us, who will be able to help you find a confirm finishes.
what other parts do I need to install this - i.e. arm, etc?
You will need a shower bar or holder, an example for both would be model numbers 27521000 for the shower bar or 28622000 for a holder. You will also need a wall union for the water supply. We would recommend the 28627000 union and the 28417000 hose.
