Can this top be cut to 23 inch wide? I need to fit it in a small closet as counter/shelf.

Is hardware provided to attach to the base? Do you essentially have to drill through one side, since it’s reversible? Is that easy with this material?!
No hardware provided. Choose one side to use as once you drill it on the other side is useless.
No hardware.Trying to figure out how to do a base without messing up the other sides.
