What is extra button on leg tool pocket for
As these pants are more common in Europe. the purpose of the button is for the attach work knife's sheath to it in my past experience. Same principle as in this vest on the left side of the picture with blue knife. I hope this helps

Our biggest pant are 48", wish we could help. Dickies 874 goes to size 58 which may help

The less expensive version is a special Home Depot product and it appears they are having a promotion. Pants are exactly the same.
